hmm see what I can do, no promises. But if a team starts 5v6, respectful thing to do would be to let the ball die.

Default FC forfeit

Sorry guys, but we couldn't get 6 players, only 5. We waited for a 6th to show up for an hour in vain, so I told my team not to stay online.

All teams that were supposed to play against us will have a forfeit win.

It's my bad for signing up, I take responsibility for that.

Due to the 3 way ties, next week will be a tiebreaker.

Starting at 2:15pm EST.
Tie breaker rule for next week (if it ties again) will be inmplemented.

Sorry, but I had difficulty understanding your post. Does that mean that only the 6 teams that are tied, will play next week? (arr, T.T, AH, Air, tVo, twisted)

I don't get it, why not use the actual points (total goals) as a tiebreaker right now?

Also, yeah to bo3s.

It's b01's and its not going ot use the points.

This is not debatable.

Edit: Actually it is.
If you convince Twisted and AH to take their loss by goals we can move on.

If people have other problems with the format, they can complain outside of this thread. Please also be advised I will not be reading said complaints.

I don't need to convince anyone because the chart already did. It implied that points would be used in the end and no one had a problem with that, as the goals total is meaningful enough to play the tiebreaker role. Playing another week just seems unnecessary when we already have all the info we need.

Solving a tie breaker by something that can lead to more tie breakers is ****ing retarded.

If I am interpreting the chart right (and this isn't just because I'm in AH, as I haven't even had access to a computer that can run alti in the past 2 weeks), then this would be unfiar because I think TT forfeited, which only gives AH a 1 goal credit, whereas all the other teams in the bracket played TT when they had enough players, giving them more than a 1 goal credit. This also applies to the ball vs arr match, although ultimately it doesn't matter because ball won all 4 games. Otherwise I would agree with Sunaku, as teams should recieve recognition for losing a close game as opposed to being blown out.

Yes, I have recorded Arr matches against FC (5v5), TT and AH. I missed match against {ball}, as you guys started ealier. I'm converting them now and will upload to youtube soon.

I see what you mean, but this is easily fixable. It would just require to give the team winning by a forfeit 6 points (for 6 virtual goals) and voilą!

{arr} didn't forfeit against {ball} and, surprisingly, even scored a few times; so the only reason I didn't argue the scores is because it was suddenly decided they would not be taken into account. Even if the chart pointed to the contrary from the start.
At the moment, I see no valid reason why we should play matches we have, actually, already played.

Hoping that giving feedback on the final round won't derail too much the thread about the final round. We wouldn't want that, now, would we?
