Acid Bomb and Veteran Bars

Quick question:

Do Veteran Bars increase the armor debuff from Acid Bomb? Or do Bars only increase the DoT portion of the attack? I'm trying to determine whether or not to use Ace Instincts with Acid Bomb.

I second the request for this info, I never even knew about the armour debuff until DZ told me about it today.

yeah, it's actually the main reason to use it. the damage is pretty low.

A plane hit by acid takes 67 damage over the course of the debuff plus an extra 33% damage from all other sources (collisions with walls, bullets, etc).

The 67 DoT is amplified by veteran bars, the 33% damage amplifier is not. However the amplifier is multiplied against all other damage (e.g. your veteran-bonused tracking bullets) so, overall, acid stacks pretty well with ace.
