Buy-In Tournament?

Going out on a limb here but I figured I'd see what everyone thinks.

5 1v1 Tournaments; each being plane specific. I might do 6, making Time Anchor it's own tournament.

Then to play in a tournament, you pay $1. You only play for the tournaments that you want to play in. If you want to participate in Loopy and Explo, then you pay $2.

Anyways, the winner of each tournament gets 50% of the pot. So if 20 people sign up for Randa and you win, congrats bro you just earned $10. The other 50% of the pot goes into a bigger pot.

The remaining 50% of the money goes into a pot for a FFA. The 5 (maybe 6) winners will play in a 10 minutes timed FFA match. The winner of that then gets the remaining money.

i'd personally prefer a buy-in spelling bee so i can put my money where my GPA is.

The hassle of actually bothering with money would put me off, and lots of people who play are too young to be handing money over the internet (I know they have alti, but this is slightly different). I like the idea though.

The money amounts are too small to bother with organizing the transactions.
The community is too small for enough people to want to play for real money or believe their skill is god enough to gamble on it.
A huge percentage of altitudians are too young to get money online (and don't know how to get it online illegally).
