SL4 Week 1

1st Round 2:00pm EST - 6:00pm GMT (Altitude Time) - Asteroids, planepark, mayhem2.
2nd Round 2:40pm EST - 6:40pm GMT (Altitude Time) - Core, funnelpark, grotto.
3rd Round 3:20pm EST - 7:20pm GMT (Altitude Time) - Hardcourt (yes hardcourt), Cave, Snow.

round 4 next week - darkwar, maze, cross.

ALL teams will play at least 2 rounds.

Servers: Top left game APL1, Top right game APL2, Mid left game APL3, Mid right game APL4, Bottom game Tournament server 1 (pw: tourny) - (this is where the game starts you can only change server if BOTH teams agree to do so)

Usually Start time include the Draw and stuff in my opinion, not game starts on 12nd June.

Very doubtful bbq will have enough today. But dont know about rescheduling rules?

(I really think this all goes too fast, I mean the only detail which is known is the time, no rules about rescheduling, subs, home and away rules, maps, who got first choice or even teams that we have to play in about 10 hours, and for bbq detrimental, very late notice of times. Honestly didnt expect them anymore.)

none of that is even applicable to skyleague, you are told which maps you will be playing and what server you will be playing them on

and i assume if the other team isn't full of cunts they will reschedule if you ask nicely

i don't see what the uproar is all about..just show up at 2pm est like every other league altitude has ever had and it will be ready to go

1. People are having a hard time putting confidence into 'just show up @ 2 PM EST and scrim.' People want more details, brackets, etc - I include myself.
2. A 2-3 notice prior to the match is very necessary as it can be very hard trying to gather a team in less than 24 hours.

That said, I doubt more than 2 teams will showup tomorrow. AH is lucky to have some pretty darn active players otherwise we'd be toast.

Also, instead of sitting on the sidelines criticizing (which anyone can do), I'd like to offer my help with SL4. Let me know if I can be of service.

Well considering i asked teams to give me the roster for friday so i could put schedules up on friday but half the teams still havent given me the roster what should i do? Disqualify all the teams or just be nice and wait some more..

Whats the difference between knowing you have a game at 2pm est and knowing you have a game at 2pm est against ball on asteroids cave and core?

Rules:

- Subs: 2 subs per week, players can be subbed in and out how many times you want. Players can only play for one team each season.
- Maps: 3 maps with a veto system to decide first map, from there on loser picks map.
- Servers: APL 1-4 for the first game, from there on loser can pick any APL server including APL 5-6.
- Format: full season and playoffs (double elimination).

If it's because they didn't get their roster in before the 10th, well ball didn't either.

Andy can you clarify these points:

>what are the sub rules? are we allowed to sub when someone doesn't drop but on the fly in the match?
>when exactly should the veto process be done? should it be after the teams are made or before that? how long is a team allowed to select a map?
>are we allowed to reschedule? do you have a date worked in to make up matches between teams if something happens?

1. Sub rule up there ^ is for roster, in game sub works as usual no changes on that.
2. Veto system: Top team (in the game schedule) vetoes first map and bottom team picks the map between the two remaining. (the process shouldnt take more than 5 minutes, if it does just play the first map on the list.) This will happen before the game starts.
3. Yes reschedules are allowed, considering this will take 4 weeks (first week 3 games, second week 2 games, third week 2 games, fourth week 2 games.) i suggest you reschedule for the week that has less games.

you cant tie because its ball, you only have to play enough maps until a team wins 2 (bo3).
