Why we picked this name ?
TeamLiquid members and more generally professional Starcraft fans already know what this name means.
Air Force ACE is a Starcraft proteam in South Korea, currently active and playing in the official proleague, whose members are all enlisted in Korean Air Force. These guys not only play Starcraft well, but they also acomplish their military duties at the same time, which is really impressive.
By the way, this is the first esports team to ever be sponsored by the army.
Being good fanboys, we chose this name for our Altitude team.

Team's history :
This team was created for the first season of TeamLiquid's Altitude League, and regrouped some of the best TL players at the time. Our original goal was to be the best Altitude team of TL.
Our first scrimmage was against Into The Walls, on all league's official maps. And the result was quite good, 11-0 in our favor. It has brough much experience to our team, so we were able to defeat also Your Mom (it's a team name ! don't scream at me !) in some good matches when the league started.
A few victories after, we encountered Team Vapor in a great televised match, you can watch it here (Chobopeon commentating, available in HD). After three maps, Vapor finally won.
Our second defeat was also against Vapor in the semifinal of the League.
After some intense (and very selective, as usual) recruitment, we joined the Summer League, and we finally finished first in the first round of the league, with an impressive 7-1 record (15 rounds won, 2 rounds lost).
We finally had to concede the final victory to fLb in an EXTREMELY close and epic match, 4games to 3. The series lasted for about 3 hours, with great plays from both teams, which resulted in probably the highest skill level play to ever be seen on Altitude.
In the following season, the Altitude Proleague s2, we went through the regular season without a single loss, and did a pretty good job in the playoffs as well, winning the finals of the winner bracket against a very powerful fLbSS, and then, we met fLb in the superfinals. Since we won the winner bracket and they won the loser bracket, we had to win only one bo7 series where they had to win two. Because of some mistakes on our part, we lost the first one 3 games to 4, but won the second one without losing any game.
And so is ACE Champion of APL Season 2.
Season 3 coincided with something many of our players were waiting for a loooooooooong time : Starcraft 2 beta was out. So naturally, those players started playing it like mad. Resulted a serious lack of practice for many of us and some losses that could have been avoided otherwise, including to our long time rivals fLb. We decided to avoid further bad play and regroup, and we withdrew from APL3 even though we were ranked second after the regular season.
We're currently in the process of removing inactive players and recruiting maybe a few new faces so we can be ready for the next season/tournament.

Consider yourself in.

I have received confirmation from both GGQ and Curious that they're still with us, so that makes 5 of us.
I think jeppew is still on vacation though, and I'd really like to have him with us.
I think I'll recruit two more persons and we'll be good to go.

By the way, we'll be using voice chat, either mumble or ventrilo if we have a server. Make sure you can at least hear us, if you have a mic, it's even better.
