Default Ladder servers lagging

Today I noticed very significant increase in my ping on tbd ladder, 130 -> 180-200. At first I thought it was a problem on my side of things but everything is fine and good on other US servers. Any ideas why is this happening and how it could be fixed because playing with 200 ping is impossible.

Same problem here. I don't enjoy playing ladder at all this way.

Unfortunately, server stability and connectivity isn't something I can control in general, since the servers are hosted by phong (who isn't active enough of a player to react quickly to this). Hopefully by now the problem has went away, but if it continues let me know and I can try to reach phong to see if he can do anything.

Although, wanted to point out that I do appreciate reports of this kind in here. I am not the most active player (actually I do have a lot of games played but they tend to be at very consistent times of the day/week and thus may miss things that occur at other times), so it helps to report things so I am aware of what is going on.

The fastest way to alert me of connectivity issues is to send me a PM (which converts to email). Unfortunately I have bandwidth intensive tasks which run late night/early morning on weekends which doesn't cater well to players outside the US.
