Hello.
I have a suggestion.

We need press "F5" in tbd. (and really fast)

TBD is dying, and ofc in nowdays altitude is main ball.

We need something new, some change on TBD to make get back in the scene.

We cant get a tbd ladder running up 1 hours.

i want see back 3 full pub servers playing tbd, like was few years ago.

TBD is the base, or im worng?

You've got some good points there flight but I don't see any changes happening to tbd in the near future..

The thing is that TBD games are more long and drawn out (cuz they actually require skill and strategy) and people are looking for a fast paced game, especially the newer people.

The thing is Alti has no players and no marketing which does not at all make the future of Alti rosy whatsoever. People who actually like the game won't stay because they see the game (TBD) is nearly dead. I don't understand why they are still selling Alti. Instead I would make it free for everyone, announce this (i.e. at nerd/gamer forums with a story that attracts people and why alti (TBD) is good/competitive) and start selling Alti again once it has a self-sustaining flow of players. Introduce the game to every country, especially S. Korea. Get EU/US/ASIA only servers. And make devs invest money or find investors. If all stays the same it would be very sad for the great TBD which could have become something lively and they should at least rename the game to Balltitude.

whatever league is going on is the flavor of the month game mode, tbd is fine and is being played plenty

when sky league/wabl is happening, ball ladder gets played more. when APL is going on, tbd ladder is always full.

but in all seriousness, the tbd game mode is kinda low in terms of activity at the moment, official/Hideout still has people occasionally but that is NOTHING compared with ball. ball ladder is up just about everyday not to mention dojo, bouncy servers, football, football, and ledows football.

whether its from either SL or APL running from what SSD said above, i am curious to see if it will change to mainly tbd ladder when APL starts... or more balls thrown around

I agree with Flight and tittys.

I did what i could to help. The near to zero feedback on my latest TBD maps compared to some suck (graphics/play/originality) ball maps, took me to a no more felling. Wish i could change my mind. On the other hand, this all helps me getting rid of this addiction

Maybe im wrong (one cant read it all) but... can an unbalance be one of the reasons? Nowadays theres loads of lazors and HCs. IMO they're OP. HC could have a limit of ammunitions, something like 10, then go to base and recharge, and laser could be shrinked to 2/3 of its lenght - but this isnt the place.
A TBD needs all planes, right? New players, i dont mean total noobs, dont have the feel of the pace of a TBD game, so they go for the kills. They chose the mentioned planes, and 25 minutes games drain my patience.

Hideout is nowadays the best TBD server. Why isnt it leveled over 60? On top of that, if it had a 6x6 maximum, games would be better.

TBD: I agree with u Mandrad and with Flight as well. Ball became more interesting because of ladder. TBD ladder's population went down. As mandrad says that many people are going for kills, it because of MVP. Might be strange, but to be honest i don't like TBD, but i'm playing it on Hideout EU server, as i'm practicing sometimes. And the most important thing is that TBD is 1st game mode in Altitude.

Maps: By the way, about maps. Where are these maps which mandrad and other people are making for TBD, I mean on tbd public servers. Graphics should be pretty cool, but graphics maybe it not so important.

yeah i only go on alti 30 sec a day to see if tbd ladder is running which it isn't 90% of the time + competitive ball since it's better than bladder. so nobo can you like act as if the bladder crashed for a few days so people play tbd again? we are sad.

it probably says something about how much people enjoy ball compared to tbd if the tbd ladder cannot sustain ten people for any given length of time.

also tbd is basically autoloss if you're playing against mled or donk and don't have a player in the top 5 on your team.

in tbd the worst players often hover over the base, take the bomb in a heavy, or do all other kinds of hilarious things

a lot of people just don't like dealing with it

I find tbd much more interesting - see my ladder account, 0 ball games played, but I can see why people enjoy ball. I personally think that tbd community called this for themselves, with constant raging. As a player who started laddering when I was still bad (not completely terrible, mind you) each game I would get raged at, insulted and even blamed about things I had no control of (which was incredibly annoying btw). Constructive criticism was quite rare (lol learn to play noob). But you can't just magically get better, it takes months starting from zero to get decent (unless you play lazer olol).

Most people dont want to deal with this crap because ultimately, people play for fun. And yes, even worst players want to get better but the only place they can is ladder. And ladder means that each time you play you get treated like complete ****. It's not enjoyable to say the least. Look how many new players that come to ladder stick there. There's very few. They go and play ball because they'll get raged at less there because its much harder to be completely useless as elxir pointed out.

TLDR: tbd ladder community is complete **** and no one wants to stick around .

i didn't play ladder tbd until i had a firm grasp of the fundamentals because i didn't want to piss off the people who had spent time and effort getting good

you are correct though, it is now much harder to learn to play outside of ladder. however, each game mode does have frequently populated servers...see AIR, arr, dojo, tbd hideout, official 1, etc.

At least for tbd, level of competition in pub servers is so much lower than ladder that I have major trouble seeing how you could get decent in a sane amount of time. Right now you have to play ladder to get good at fastest possible rate (outside of clan matches, but you probably aren't getting into those if you have trouble laddering). OR you could get a tutor from that thread on forums but most new players dont know about it.

agreed, but that is in part because good tbd players apparently no longer feel the need to play pub server tbd, which in turn kills tbd ladder skills of new players

Hideout stays alive because of klf, without us, it dies. We need more tbd'ers or the mode will just fizzle out. Im pretty dead set on putting altitude to bed after next apl as there is just not enough intrest in tbd anymore, sadly.

This. There always someone, who terribly bad. And did not come better. Even after months. Actually even after years. I dont wanna to carry those ones on my back. And lose even with 200% efficiency

There 5v5 servers, but they lacking of good players imo. I come here and see bunch of lowlvl players, who shoulnt be there. I personally want to see 6 lvls of quality.
