score biggest loss

Dear ladder admins!!

We've just finished ball ladder match. We lost!!.

And i have a question for U. After ladder match I went to ladder.com and I saw that I LOST 114 points. Is it something wrong with rating system or what? Because I have 2nd biggest losing streak of ball ladder rankings (Yeah, it my problem)

well it's mostly because you lose 10 extra points every time you **** up an easy clear

Well I don't know much about the ranking system, but since someone in the opposing team won +93 points, I don't think it's an issue and somehow you did lose all these.

Nope, you lost that many points because losing streaks causes you to lose points even more. See the thread about the rating system (which is clearly stickied and labeled ABOUT THE RATING SYSTEM) here http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6397 .

Demuyt: the scoring system is no longer zero-sum so having someone on the other side win a lot of points does not necessarily mean that you lose a lot of points.

Oh, I wasn't implying that, my bad. I just meant to say that, even if the amount of points Xorg lost is way superior to the amount his teammates lost, there still was a guy in the winning team who also won a large/similar number of points.

Oh, I thought that it something wrong with rating system. I wanted to post about this problem before on rating system thread. Anyway, thanks for explaining this problem, nobo. I won't able to play ladder if I keep losing.

Actually you will. You can lose as much as you want.
