Thanks for this Andy. In the last CP thread there was a misunderstanding. I wasn't trying to cause trouble or be unappreciative. I was in BBQ, the team who won 1st place, but I had left: meaning no CP for Vesu. Veritas blew it way out of proportion and turned it into something negative, which it was not meant to be. So, thanks again and sorry for that previous misunderstanding.

I assume that everything from SL4 on will count since that is when the prizes were first offered.

Actually indirectly you gave me a good idea.. CP for recording, casting and putting the games on youtube. Id say 25CP for each Bo3 series and 50-100CP for bigger ones. We really need more people recording games, you cant only have finals on youtube.

I'll see if I can do this. I have a good internet connection to upload as well. I just need a FULLY free recording software for Winblows 7 that can record in HD. I don't want to spend more money on buying overpriced screen-capture software.

Will google later, too lazy now.

We can work something out for ladder matches too. Maybe 100cp every 10 games recorded and uploaded then 200cp for every 10 games recorded, casted and uploaded. I dont really know what amount would be appropriate for the work.

Average amount of time per record (for me)

record = A minutes
encoding = B = A*3 to A*6 (depending on map) minutes
uploading = from B to B*2 minutes

So total time (from record start to upload end) would be approximately from A*7 to A*19 (pretty rare for it to be that long though, its really for the longest games on say core, which takes a ****ton of space for some reason).
For example if the game takes 10 minutes, it would take from 70 to 190 minutes in total.
That's excluding preparation and configuration of all softwares, youtube account, microphone and whatnot.

x264vfw - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec

It's the one Lam said to use in the video contest thingy a couple years ago. It's really good quality and doesn't take a lot of space.

Have you considered making the positions and amount of points given even between TBD and Ball? I know TBD is the more established competitive mode, but it's not like one had way more teams than the other (also if it was changed I'd get 50 cp, not gonna pretend I'm not a little biased).

I would like to bring up again the difference of CP between leagues.

Why is the TBD league worth 150 and the ball league only 100? If anything, ball is way more competitive. But that's not important, they should be even.

That is so not true and we all know it. Besides, what's the difference between having 50 CP more or less? Not like many will have enough points left to buy one last skin after using all their CP.

I don't think it is necessary to have the same amount of points, but if I changed anything I would just bring TBD points to match balls not vice versa.

It doesn't necessarily have to be skyleague getting a 50 bonus. I'm not fishing for points here.

Both 1st prizes giving 100 CP is fine.
