Season Ending Update

The season will end either on the weekend of June 4/5 or 11/12. I will likely only give a few days notice to make sure I have completed all or most of the new features for next season.

Also any reset is dependent on ladder being played regularly. If ladder is not at least relatively active at that time, like at least being played every other day, the reset will be put on hold until it picks back up. If ladder isn't being played and no reset happens, new features will be integrated into the current season near the end of the month. I am completely free between May 23-30 to work on ladder.

I plan to ask for CP for the top 5 (will be 3 in the future, but 5 now since season has been so long)... tentatively 200 for 1st, 150 for 2nd, and 100 for 3rd through 5th.

There will likely be 5 to 7 days of testing before the new season starts. No worries about any long break running old code. Last time the entire code base was being rewritten. But I do want to thoroughly test new features and modes.

If you have any new ideas for achievements or stats you want to see next season let me know. I will try to look back through any achievements that have already been suggested but doesn't hurt to remind me.

Probably not. Season length should be in the 3 to 6 month range for ball, but I don't think it will be set length. I do not want to have a set length because sometimes ladder does not get played much.

It may be possible to do set length based on number of games played though. If not an exact amount, it is very likely I try to end seasons around a certain number of games played.

It is unlikely that seasons will ever end for modes other than ball because not enough games are played.

Of course this project I am working on is dragging on and on. I was hoping to be completely done with it by the beginning of this week, but with additional work being added I'm guessing won't be done until end of May.

Season certainly will not end next weekend and the first weekend in June is doubtful since I am not sure when I will even be able to start working on ladder. I'm expecting to end season on June 12, but I won't have a good idea until this other project is done and I can start working on ladder. If lucky can still end a week earlier on June 5.
