Turrets get bars/stars
If they're going to get kills, give them exp. More to level them probably, discourages suiciding or at least makes you have to deal with them if you do it too much. Possibly heal on level?

stealing this thread to post another idea about stars:
Stars = how much damage you do to base objects. Having 0 stars = you do almost no damage to base objects. 2 stars would be the equivilant to what planes do to bases now. 3 or more stars would lead to more damage. Encourages people with more stars to attack bases. Makes people who ignore dogfighting to suicide on base more worthless (or requires them to spend more time alive and hitting said base/turret before their damage becomes worthwhile). (EDIT) and I still think Big Bomb should be the only thing that can destroy a base. |

To return to the original point, I'd actually like to see something like this. Right now turrets just seem like a waste of a nuke.
