Can't connect on school network
Hi. I really like Altitude and would definitely buy it if I were able to get it working on my university network. I cannot connect to either the update or login servers at all. I've tried changing the port around but other then that, I'm not sure what I can do. I've completely disabled the windows firewall. Oh and the network I'm on requires that I use the Cisco Clean Access Agent, but that shouldn't be causing any conflicts with this.
Thanks for any help. |

lots of universities are blocking UDP traffic... but who knows if this is the problem. It would help if you sent use your log files: http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11

What applications can you access from your university network?
Any other online games? Torrent applications (e.g. uTorrent)? Chat programs? If so please list. You may need to contact your server administrator to add Altitude traffic to a "local whitelist" of some sort. |

The facebook alt works fine at my school. Try it with that if possible.

I tried using the Facebook alt but that didn't work; it just launched Altitude proper, was it supposed to run in the browser or something?
Also, I submitted my log. |
