Yeah I guess we could create a new post on TL about Altitude and say that there's a solid core of TL players in there. There used to be really a lot of us, and even some staff members played, but a good part of them left when the game was released. Now there's only us.

Ahh, good old TL. Went on the other day for the first time in a while and saw an interview with Bisu and Boxer, which made me happy because I love Bisu and Boxer.

I made it to the top 25 3 times so far, once with OGN that round only 2 ppl had non ktf teams in top 50. Hopefully I can get top 5 this season, I never managed to hold it for more than a few days .

PROLEAGUE IS STARTING TOMORROW OMGOMGOMGOMG

For non-TL readers of this forum, the Starcraft Proleague, also known as SPL is arguably the most prestigious league of SC there is. And it is also the only "official" team league, the others are either just events organized by different sponsors/teams or individual leagues, such as the OSL or the MSL.

5 days per week, for seven weeks, there will be 2 matches per day, for a total of 10 matches per week. This will be followed by the playoffs to determine a champion.
There are 12 teams in this :
- SK Telecom T1 (current champions)
- Hwaseung Oz
- STX Soul
- Hite Sparkyz
- CJ Entus
- Samsung Khan
- KT Rolster
- Woongjin Stars
- MBCGame HERO
- eSTRO
- WeMade FOX
- Air Force ACE (this is not a joke, our team name is based on this team, even though it's one of the worse pro Starcraft teams performance-wise)

Each team match is a bo5, which means a team has to win 3 games to win the match.
Each game is a 1v1 and the teams can send a certain player only once.
The actual lineups are determined a few days before the actual match happens, so that the match can be hyped and the players have enough time to practice their match-up.

Tomorrow/tonight, the matches will be :
SK Telecom T1 vs Woongjin Stars
KT Rolster vs eSTRO

The matches will be at : 13:00 KST / 06:00 CET / 00:00 EST /Fri 21:00 PST
And you'll probably be able to watch it on http://c.zeroboy.net/

Of course you can find more information on TL if you search a bit. There are every team rosters here, and you can find the calendar for the future matches, and also previews of the matches and much more.

THAT star can only mean one thing

Well ok, I'm not 100% sure and TL never stops surprising us, but such an epic intro and that particular star convinced me that it can only be TSL 2.

TSL 2, as Kuja said, would be the second Teamliquid StarLeague.
The biggest foreign (read : non-korean) starcraft league EVER.

The first one took place in early 2008 and began with a "ladder" stage on iccup (a cool competitive starcraft server, with ranks, points and a lot of stuff). It involved over 1600 players, but only 64 of them could advance to the next round, so the competition was extremely intense. Also, there was 10k US$ of cash prize, which is HUUUUUUUUUUUGE for a foreign tournament.
The best part of it was that there was a video stream with commentaries for every match for the Ro16 and onwards.
The commentaries were VERY good, and I know many people who started watching competitive SC after watching TSL, because it combined the facts that it was indeed very competitive, but also very easy to watch (and to understand) because the commentaries were clear, precise, but also with very good insight of the builds and strategies used.

It should be even better this time, and for any non-TL members reading this : watch TSL if you can, this is gonna be really really good.

can't really spam missiles, unless there's several explodets.
Mines are a better choice imo. ^^

Haha. I'm completely unsure about my team as well. And I also didn't pick guemchi. Bad choice.

And winner's league screws my main strategy over. You guys know how much of a trade whore I am, winner's league makes trading very difficult =(.
