i was just wondering what exactly are going thru the minds of the altitude veterans anyways, they mention (whine..) the fact that the game is not really "growing" player base wise, but when new (or) older players actually play this game, they get flamed instantly, abused and battered, they down the game, and maybe for good ... just a thought.

Too much of a gap in skill level between new and old players is a major cause

A lot of the players come from a (different) online community has a similarly harsh culture. They're used to it and not bothered by it, and aren't completely aware on a gut level of how obnoxious they seem to outsiders.

I was picked up to join this game by an online friend of mine, Skulkraken - I think your best bet would be to invade big forum communities like MegaTokyo. Most of these have a game discussion section where this would be on topic, so you could post requests for more players without causing problems.

As a new player, I have almost consistently flown the loopy for all of the 30 levels I've got so far. I fly the other, less combat-oriented aircraft in free-for-alls against less experienced players because I appreciate the challenge of trying something new.
