Display Driver crash.
Everyone once and a while when I'm playing on different servers. (Mostly Summer League.) When I end up about to do some killing, the game just blacks out, and returns me back to my desktop screen, then a bubble pops up from my taskbar saying that the display driver has recovered from ...something something something. Also titled "Display Driver Crash" as well as a circle with a red X on it.
Ingame, sometimes I do reverse bomber with the bomb perk. Freeze. sometimes, I am explodet going to pick up my allies dropped bomb, and end up successfully picking it up. Freeze. Time Anchoring Reverse Thrust bombing with Miranda. Freeze. I don't know if it's Altitude itself or my computer. PS: Sometimes after the fourth award in the rewards screen freezes Altitude up, making the program not responsive, then forcing me to manual shutdown. don't know if this goes into the same category, but this is the issues forum. Help? Suggestions?

try the latest drivers for your video card:
http://nvidia.com http://amd.com http://ati.com http://intel.com unfortunately latest does not mean best... for example i have a nVidia 8800GT 512MB and the latest working drivers for me are the 175.51 (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html) drivers that were released April 30, 2008. Every later driver version breaks Warcraft 3 (DotA)  .
