Suggestion: Proleague server password change?

I've just witnessed the noobs of the world, spreading the password of the Pro League server, causing the infestation of noobs in our servers. The purpose of the server was to separate the low level of play, to a higher rank of play. Seeing the random amount of people pop into the server, who won't even spectate accordingly, or just plain be obnoxious. Maybe a server password change is in order? Just my two cents.

(If this thread doesn't belong here, I believe that a mod should move it accordingly.)

Good idea how about a password that changes from time to time. I know lots of people troll in them but this calls for more Admins.

Agreed. Yesterday 60% of the server2 were clanless level 20-40s. D:

first of all how the hell did they get the password. Mabye a level 60 restriction should be in effect.

That would help, but wouldn't completely fix the problem. Alot of 60s are still noobs too. :P

They get the password because its not secret and posted in the tourney thread.

Keep in mind there are people in clans and in the tourny who aren't level 60 so making it level 60 only would not let them be able to play.

I know I didn`t mention the problems of restrictions but limiting the servers just a bit would answer loli`s request.

I like this idea.

The purpose behind Captains games are to balance the teams well, and weed out the noobs. Maybe we could add 5v5 TDM to the proleague/captains/other servers?

During preseason, Lobstars was trying to get a game going with our scheduled opponent, and random people swarmed in, outvoted us, and made it impossible. Only two people showed up on the other team, but we were planning to play anyway. Because of discourteous people joining the game we had to take the forfeit loss, which is never fun.

And you say there are even more random peeps now than there were two weeks ago? I fully support a password change. It should help for at least a little while.

You mean those noobs who invaded SSD vs. L*? God that was so annoying if this happens without admins controlling the action more matches will end up like this.

We need more admins that lives
in different timezone and ppl who are free to play ality time to time.

it would be better to have more admin or like everyone else was saying, change the pass. Some random noobs every now and then go on the tourney servers, not on a clan, and about 2 or three people are playing, and they call tournament. Then no one else can join, Everyone has to wait for the noobs to quit. Its so frusturating

In any case + to admin even if its just the rcon p/w rather then hard coded admin.
I think the leaders of the established clans would be a good call. Due to clans usually being made around time zones this would help make sure admins on when neccessary.

Tec27 does not play much anymore, the admins are Maimer, Kuja, Tyr, Cloud and myself. One of us is online for the most parts of the day.
EDIT: if we aren't online I'm usually idling at #tl.altitude on quakenet for most of the day
