Tided that up for you. Grammar is your friend. Run-on sentences are not.

You forgot that there's no such word as "anyways"; it's "anyway."

It's not that I'm against grammar. It's because this is just a game forum, so I don't really make an effort to use grammar.

I hate to be the "grown up" here, but let me tell you that how you act one way in life almost always reflects in other parts of your life. It is too easy to get complacent and not make the effort to use proper grammar. Today's kids grow up in a world where "your" is spelled "ur" and I am not sure all of them know which is the right way.

I say take the time to do things correctly here and it will come more easily when it counts such as in school. Plus, typing in cryptic words and using improper sentence structure makes people look like idiots. Why should I take the time to read someone's post when they didn't even take the time to write something that sounds coherent? Why do you think people get on your case so much when you post? Try to think of it from the other people's perspective when you are writing a post.

Its hard to respect your posting when you don't even respect us enough to make your posts legible, thats why nothing you say is treated with anything but "lulz".

You may look at all my homework, they are all have perfect grammar, except for the french assignments, but here is a game forum, do I really need to use good grammar here? Here's a question? Do you use those "acronyms" in your e-mails? (obviously the ones sent to your friends)

Well at least you tried lol. Acronyms have nothing to do with it, I cannot understand 85% of your posts at all. Were asking for decent not perfect.

No, I don't use acronyms in e-mails. And for your information stuff like "ur" is not an acronym. It's just writing like a retard.

If I want people to understand me, I write like a normal person. Is that so hard to get?

Actually it's called an acronym in Canada, but I realize you guys are mature so I will type properly here in a game forum.

Actually, I think you are confusing the word acronym with the word abbreviation. (I am not trying to make fun of you or anything, I just want to clarify).

An acronym is when you take the first letter of each word and make a new word. That resulting word (or string of letters) is an acronym for the original phrase. Such as: lol - laugh out loud, afk - away from keyboard, brb - be right back, etc.

An abbreviation is when you take one word and then shorten it to make a new word that means the same thing. This is usually used in a more formal way, but on the internet and in the age of texting it has taken on new forms. Such as: u - you, ur - your, r - are, etc.

I don't really think they use the word acronym to describe abbreviations in Canada, but then again it is Canada, so who really knows what they do up there!

We don't.

Lammyboi, I'll say it again. Communicating your meaning clearly and effectively is a lot more important than you might think.

Yes. You do.

(How do you answer "Here's a question?")

No, I don't.

But then I'm 35 and a teacher, so what do I know?

It's actually more than I. The treason is there's an implied do so you could also write it "more than I do." Also, that's a fragment.

He has 420 posts because he's one of the jackasses who likes to switch between troll mode and "normal" mode and then laugh at our confusion.

Assuming that was a serious question, yes the comma is correct. However, the sentence should end with a question mark.
