Default UDP connection error?

help anyone?

when i start altitude, i have no problems at all... i get maybe 3 mins tops of gameplay till it cuts out and i receive an error. My internet connection is strong, no changes there... and i wont connect again if i restart altitude. it seems to only allow gameplay (for the 3 mins) after i turn my machine off and on again.

im running this on a Macbook osx 10.5.8 build.

some help would be rad.
cheers

try forwarding ports.

Is anyone else playing altitude on your network?

Are you on a wireless connection?

Try forwarding port 27272 (or what ever you set your port to in Altitude). See http://wiki.altitudegame.com/wiki/in...ort_Forwarding

portforward.com has instructions for a lot of routers on how to port forward.

thanks karl,

but my port is and always has been set at 27272, i am playing off a wireless router, however i have never had this problem in the past, only quite recently, and it is a private connection in my home, and i am the sole altitude player.

im just confused because nothing has changed on my side, and ive been playing altitude for a while now.

cheers,
Simon

hmm, alright, i have tried playing at several other places on my laptop, and had no problem.

there must be some fault within my internal network system.

did you upgrade the firmware on your router? did you switch from b/g/n wireless connection? is your router overheating?
