Altitude Minor League
This is not a serious idea yet, but it possibly could be if other people like it.
There are so many "noob" clans that are being created these days. About 99.999 percent of players under level 60 belong to a clan that nobody has heard of, nobody cares about, and will eventually cease to exist after a week. Some of the surviving noob clans try to join the proleague, where they will stand absolutely no chance against some of the better clans such as fLb, ACE, FN, L* etc. A possible solution would be an altitude Minor League, in which the noob clans spam, crash, and EMP their way to victory! At the end of the season, the champions of the real league and minor league could play in a tourney for everyone's amusement. |

while in theory this is a really fun idea, the problem is that a lot of people don't want to think of themselves as bad, even if they are.

well
i was thinking i make 2 leagues, Altitude ProLeague, and there was the idea that the top 4 teams would move up to another sepertate divisions... But if all the noob teams sign up for apl, they will get the same competition and more a minor league really isnt needed... APL would make higher tier divisions... like OPEN/MAIN/INVITE, fLb/ace/flbss/lobstars would be invite, middle tier would be main, and lower tier teams and first year clans would start out in open if you do well in open, you move up to main, and yea |

it might be a good idea, if teams would circle pretty fast.
Like Evil said - 3 leagues, 4 teams each (or let's say 6 teams each) - and after each full round (4-6 games) - half of the teams goes down, half goes up. Imho higher mobility would make tougher competition - and would actually make real sense in all the tourneys. |

But like you said in the OP, teams dissolve within a week if not shorter. So... yeah.

Yeah, but that's really a bummer. I like the open/main/invite kinda thing, it makes sense for the level of teams. But the facts are that probably most of the open teams would no-show. Just because the teams aren't really tight and aware. But still, a tier system could be integrated into APL in the coming seasons.
