if a friend gets banned on his account on your computer

recently, my neighbor who has an altitude account also, came over. He was bored so he opened up altitude and LOGGED IN ON HIS ACCOUNT.I know he did because i was sitting and watching the entire time.
He went to a server, i think it's called alternate proleague PA or something on those lines. I am not sure of the exact name because i cannot find the server. Anyway, he was flying around on the server. There was one other person there, and he must have been an admin. I saw that there was no talking, no one told him not to do anything (chat was not disabled) but the admin banned him for no reason. This wasn't a two-minute ban though, it was like 67,635 days. So after a few minutes, he got bored and decided to log off. 5 minutes after he logged off, I logged on AND I LOGGED ON ON MY ACCOUNT, and it was also the same computer. I played around a little, and then i wanted to go onto the server he went onto before. Except I got this message, "you have been banned from this server for 67,635 days". So, I cannot play on this server, even though i am on MY ACCOUNT,because my friend went on HIS ACCOUNT and got banned.

I have thought about why this happened. I am guessing that this rule is made so that people don't log onto a server they are banned with a different account. But this rule affects people who haven't done anything.

Unfortunately, any rule that doesn't ban you as well in that situation wouldn't ban an abusers who changes accounts either.

The only thing to do is to not let people who might get you banned play on your computer. That advice is too late of course, but it's never to late to get better friends.

I didn't know about this. My roommate plays in my computer all the time. But he's cool so no problem for me.

Yeah this never happend to me or my friends who play on my computer when they come over to my place...

Bans check both IP and Account ID now, so your account is being banned because it shares an IP address. I'll let you figure out how to remedy that.

i'm hesitant to give the name of the person, as it might hurt their feelings (he is not very mature yet, my young neighbor-not friend) but his name is {SWN}Jetfire.
