Default More players More fun

in addition to the steam/direct2drive launch i would like to propose sum ideas to increase the database in time for the most wonder full time of the year

1. revive the old altitude thread on the team liquid site
i made an account even though i obviously dont play starcraft
we could all pitch in to exaggerate the awesomeness of this game
i recommend kuja and tyr to revive it cause i dont have a good reason to do it myself

2.relaunch on the apple website
why not? obviously the biggest jump in players was the apple download of altitude. well lots of people were dragged in when it released in may including me. lots of those games actually come up with an updated version of their game. so i was like wtf why couldn't altitude. it could reach most downloaded possibly. but since there was a new demo limit it might not work out as well as it did before.

Oh yeah I was actually thinking about that yesterday.
Many TL players didn't buy the game when the beta ended because they thought 20$ was too much. I'm pretty sure we can get some of them back because it's only 10$ for the moment.
I'll let Kuja do it though. I don't want to ruin this because of not finding a way of saying it because of my poor English.

Yeah, I mean really any forum where you're a part of the community, no reason not to post there. Obviously don't be a spamming jerk, but if there's somewhere you already hang out at, why not let them know?

A couple have tried it, but no one stuck around. It's really hard to get these kind of guys to try a cute little 2d game

It would be interesting if the admins gave out the stats but i'd be surprised if the mac and the linux market for this game even made 10% of the player base.

till the lately steam-launch, mac users seemed to make 50-70% of the player base in the game (due to apple.downloads).

Hi all, greetings from another Steam-noob.
I bought Altitude a week ago and love it, I think it's one of the best games I've ever bought on Steam

A lot of gamers are buying Altitude -> that's a good thing
The lamest players will stop playing after a cuople of months -> another good thing
Good players will continue playing and becoming better -> the best thing of all

P.S. Sorry for my terrible English
