Default Make laser more useful, and differentiate cannon further

Hi, it's me, Rechtschaffen.
I rage-quit a while ago like a baby, but I just had to comment on 'randa laser.

Having put a number of hours into 'randa, it's clear that laser it poop, plop, and dung. You simply have to get too close for too long, and the whole "peekaboo ninja" thing is ruined.
Laser 'randa would be improved if the laser EMP'd the enemy - but only for as long as it touched. This would make it easier to nip-n-skip away.



In terms of cannon, I have this wet dream where the heft of the cannon ball slightly pushes planes in the direction of travel. Not enough to stall a full-speed loopy when hit head on, but enough to make things a little bit interesting. I understand though if HC is already OP.

Apologies that I forgot this.

Can we PLEASE stop ball kills and deaths from affection ratios? Ball is for GOALS, not ratio! In fact, a new tally on the ratio screen for goals scored per match played would be AWESOMMMMEEEE.

This would emphasise playing for goals, not for kills, and overall help the game y'all.

Yeah, and TBD is for bombing not kills - let's remove the ratio there too. In fact, FFA is about mindless kills, so we'll take it away from there as well. We can record kills in duels, I guess. Maybe.

Laser is fine.

I actually agree that laser is very slightly overpowered, but I don't see what all the angst is about. Tiny damage increase and it's good to go.

You mean underpowered right? I say a slight damage and length increase and good to go, however, I would rather see the length before the damage increase.

I hate it when i see some1, i want to hit him, and i cant reach him...

I would also love to see shots to bounce or lazer to reflect..

Compared to trickster, yes.
And unless trickster is overpowered, than lazer is correspondingly underpowered.
However, if trickster is 'ok', and lazer is worse but still 'ok', and everything else is 'ok', then everything is balanced by being 'ok' regardless of comparing their power level.

But that's not how comparing the power of things works! I've seen DBZ too!

How about showing XP earned for the round instead of kills?
