Playing Through Steam

is it at all possible to use my old purchase key to integrate the game with Steam? I don't care whatsoever about the achievements, but the convenience of having it on my steam account would be nice.

I think Karl mentioned previously that you couldn't use the key to officially purchase a copy of the game on steam and thus get achievements etc.

However if you just want to launch the game from steam, you can add a non steam game from the 'My Games' tab. This will let you launch it from steam and use the overlay while playing. I'm not sure if it displays the game to friends though.

You can install and launch "Altitude Demo" from steam and login using an existing Altitude Account.

You cannot get the Steam version of "Altitude" using a Altitude Registration Key purchased from anyone (our paypal, d2d, gamersgate, etc) other than Steam.
