How to create your own server?

I need to know how to create my own server since i can not play on any other my ping is just to high for them exceeding the limit every time... i barly get 15 minutes out of trying to play my ping is "always" around 400 and reaches 600 now and then but always around 400 so i get kicked quite alot at least 8 - 15 times playing fo 20 minutes but when it starts kicking me more often as if its speeding up, it just wont stop as soon as i connect to a server i only get to whatch for 5 seconds then i get kicked so i badly need to make my own server if you can because when you get kicked it says try makeing your own server so there should be a way. And if i do make a server and you ever see it please... please.. join i wont be able to play on any other servers. =((

I'm playing from Antartica so maybe thats why. Nah im joking not Antartica rofl to far away i live in tasmania, Hobart the island just below Australia so basicly i should say im a Aussie ok maybe its just my bad internet connection. =\ i use a D-Link DSL-G604T (ADSL Router)

But anyway about my question... can you create your own server?

yes -- but we're currently in the middle of upgrading the server hosting tools. We'll post a how-to guide as soon as the new tools are stable -- should be very soon.

Hm, your that really annoying guy that was bugging everyone in a server a while ago. Anyways, I sure hope that the developers set up a remote server so that lazy people like me (hehe) don't have to forward our ports!

A) there is an application called: server_configurator and server_launcher, B) it is the Altitude folder somewhere in your computer, D) shouldn't the title be called: 'high ping' and E) shouldn't it be in the Tech Support section?

1. what kind of computer you have?

2. are you wired or wireless?

3. what is your ip address?

4. do you have any drivers for your router?
