Link between Game Level and Rank and Forum

Can we have a link between the two. So rather than it saying senior member it could say Major or whatever the ingame rank is. Could also display the rank symbol. Would be turned on by putting in game login and password into forum profile .

Demo users it could do as well but would show they were a demo user

I really don't see the point of this, and it would probably take too much time (getting two databases to speak to each other can be a pain, I would imagine).
The forum is not the game, it is meta-game. Having crossover is not useful.

I think having "senior member" everywhere is about the same as having "General" everywhere.

I think you'd find it would be relatively trivial to connect the two db's together in the way I described.

Trivial, but rather pointless seeing as everyone (or almost everyone) is level 60.

also, maybe a link between clan members. so like, to start a clan, you have to enter the clan name, and anyone who who has that name is added to your friends list (under a separate section) and you can talk to the whole clan at the same time) also, maybe a password, or the leader has to approve someone before they can join? so you link the clan a lot better.

There are already social groups on the boards(I have no idea if people use them.. I haven't checked fLb's since it got created), and as Evan said everyone is 60 already, or will reach 60 in a week, so everyone on the forum will have the same rank.

can you imagine it saying everyone's a general who has had 1 post, to those who have had 600 posts?

It's kinda pointless, but an interesting concept in the same.

That is a good point, my game time is limited so i'm still under 60

Just feels right to have the link but maybe not used like I had indicated
