As many people can sign up! It will be 1dm, on the duel server. Matches will be held in the New England Duel Server! Everything goes, that means repair drone is aloud, anything is allowed. It's a 1v1 match to the death!

It will be single elimination! There are no rewards, but the winners get to claim they are the best of their plane so GOOD LUCK

Registration ends January 6th, 2010. Matches won't be scheduled in the APL. It's gonna be more like i post the bracket, and it will be your responsibility to get a scheduled time with your opponent and find some time in the duel server. Sundays will be the official day, but the more people that sign up the more packed the scheduling is going to be.

Those are all the Sunday Dates, i will set up some alternatives to playing the match, but can players please respect the server usage. I want as little problems, and as i can't manually control the APL servers, we might not have every server available. Use the New England Duel Server. I will try to add the APL servers over the registration time.

You have two options to playing your game, 1dm, obj_arena or obj_smallcave. Each round will have a choice between the two modes. In 1dm, first to win 11 round wins. In Duel Maps, (duel_grotto, duel_asteroids, etc..), the loser is the person first to 15 deaths. Screenshots should be taken just in case there is a dispute or misunderstanding. If they are asked for, they are required, it will be a loss. If neither player has screenshots when asked, both of them will be eliminated.

So yea good luck, if im missing anything i'll add in =D. More information will be released when registration ends, and when the brackets are finalized. I will be using Challonge, just because its simple for me and everyone. ! Gl

That means that you may get killed when yout hink you have just reached cover.
up to evil, big decision as mira vs mira is super twitch and with lag it changed the whole dynamic (anchor weakens a lot)

If these are taking place on the New England servers then the max ping is 200.

Edit: Just realized I might not be able to compete in this after all as the first two weekends I will be spending preparing for late finals and skiing in Colorado! I'd still be happy to help out with adminage in the last two weekends, but I'll be busy enough that I probably shouldn't enter myself. :\

I'm in, however I still have a severe problem with powerups. I realize it's hard to appease everyone in this regard, but I feel like like the voice of support for ridding the 1v1 experience of the disease that is PUs far outweighs that of the contrary.
Just my thoughts, and I might add that if any of my opponents feel the same way I'll be more than happy to have a PU-free, pure, sanctified 1v1 match.

I think PUs other than health at least are not fun in 1v1. I'm not sure if repair drone is good either.
