Automatic map vote.
Add an automatic map vote after every match.
A list of all the maps is shown and players vote for the one they want to play next. Server admins should be able to turn this feature ON/OFF. I'm suggesting this because usually people dont want to play the same map twice, and then time is wasted while people call votes for the map the majority wants to play. |

For once I agree, this would save the time and voting process during the next game.

Although this is a different topic altogether, I'm posting in this thread because there's an obvious example here (see if you can find it): I don't know if vbulletin has this capability, but perhaps we can implement a like/dislike feature to posts, similar to facebook? This way, people can still voice their opinion on a subject even if they have nothing new to contribute, so that it isn't perceived as +1 spam.
Edit: btw I "like" the idea of automatic votemap. |

Yeah I like this idea. Maybe a poll would have the same effect as like/dislike? Or maybe for suggestion threads there could be some kind of informal rating system.
Sorry to be clear I like both Vania and Ryebone's ideas. (is that correct grammar? hmmm..) |

If you have a good argument for adding a reputation or other system to the forums, feel free to make a new thread in the Suggestions subforum so that the devs will see it! Edit: You can find more details on the average Reputation System here if you are so inclined: http://altitudegame.com/forums/faq.p...vb3_reputation Last edited by Pieface; 01-09-2010 at 08:27 PM. |
