Altitude Wallpaper Competition

Objective:
Create a 1024x768+ size wallpaper of Altitude. The more the Wallpapers, the more Altitude is recognized. If people see pictures of Altitude on some website, and they look fantastic, they are bound to check it out. So make the Wallpapers the best you can!

Instructions:
Register by uploading your pictures! Upload the wallpapers in this thread.
You can use "www.ImageShack.us" to upload them. Post the link(s) here.
A person can post as much pics as they make, but make sure they are different. Try to be Creative, Use your talent! Everything else, is up to you!


Host:
I will be the host of this competition and will decide the awards as I see the wallpapers!


Never limit your talent and creativity, make something that will give each Altitude Fan an awesome desktop or screensaver! And Promote Altitude in a Whole! Have Fun and Good Luck! It can be a good screenshot! Whatever will promote Altitude!


Note: Awards are being currently decided. They will be posted shortly. The competition ends in february, after the contest ends, the winners will be picked and the awards will be given. Registration is simply posting an Altitude Wallpaper here. Note the wallpapers can be no smaller than 1024x768. This competition is hosted by Ajuk999, and he is responsible for all actions of this contest, he will be a judge along with a few others that will be announced with the awards.

Awards Are Being Decided.

The Aspect Ratio is, 4:3 is the preferred ratio. Make sure it isn't under the "1024x768" minimal. Bigger can be accepted, but smaller, no. i.e it can be 16:3, but make sure it is no smaller than 4:3. We allow bigger, but won't accept smaller than the 4:3 scale. Also We will put an Altitude logo on pic (in the corner)

Ajuk - I'm not sure if you'd like to specify it, but you might want to define an aspect ratio as well - 4:3 or 16:9 being fairly common

I personally thought Beagle's picture was much better without the huge logo and before blurring the actual picture. An Altitude logo is probably a good addition to things that may become "official wallpapers," but I'd suggest having a small logo in the corner that doesn't obstruct the rest of the image, and at the same time try to keep the picture fully sharp so it is easy to see. I've always liked the idea of contests created to enhance things like the Wiki as a whole, but this one might need a bit more thinking out. For example, why can't the photos be 16:9? A lot of people have 16:9 or 16:10 displays and it might be nice to not give everyone a limit as to what aspect ratios they can submit.

Also, not sure what you mean about receiving a page in the Wiki about the player, or the rest of the contestants "having their names posted on a wall." If anyone wants to contribute to the Wiki or make their own personal user page, they can always PM Maimer or me and we would be happy to create an account for them. A realistic award might be to have their backgrounds placed in the "Backgrounds" category of the Wiki, along with any non-wiki award you were thinking about.
