Help I can't play!
Sooo last night I tried to join a game for the first time in like a week. It sat there for like 2 minutes thinking about it, and in the meantime my internet stopped working. I was like, weird.
So today I just tried to play again, and the same thing happened. As soon as I try to load a game, my internet stops working (like, firefox too). Help! |

This is what it looks like when I click the "join game" tab:

Just a little clarification:
I have to actually turn off and then turn on Airport (i'm on a mac) to get internet back, even after I close Altitude. As a side note, I ran that traceroute thing that was mentioned in another thread and I have also restarted my computer, to no avail. |

Try this:
Open ~Altitude/config/options.xml in a text editor On the line starting with <networkOptions, change: maxConcurrentServerRequest="25" to maxConcurrentServerRequest="5" That will reduce the server list retrieval speed, which may prevent your router from triggering "Denial of Service" protection (strange as it seems, some routers actually do this). |
