I wonder if it has anything to do with you sending each and every opponent to hell. Nah, probably not.

Some random scrims today.

arr vs ball: 2-1 (goals 14-9?)

ball win 2-6
arr win 6-1
arr win 6-2?

arr vs tv0: 1-1 (goals 11-7?)

tv0 win 5-6
arr win 6-1?

Slow startup for our team on both matchups, but ended them up with really nice goal streaks after the initial warm up. Tbh our very first game was quite awful to watch with the arr team being somehow really messed up, but after that everyone got their play together and did really well. Good job guys!

We are open for more scrims, so please contact me or D4rt to arrange something. Sorry for ACE for not playing you guys today, but all of us were really tired as it was 2 or 3am for most of us and we had already played 5 maps. I'd like to scrim ACE, AH and ICE at some point, and also rematches with todays opponents, especially tv0.

Don't be so modest Gemi, we have to give you credit for cheering up the team during that hard time we had in the first game against {ball}.
And I really want to share with the world some of the encouragement speech you sent us from the bench. It might inspire some coaches in need of incentives:

"Are you {arr} guys planning on stop sucking at some point ?"
"Nice goal. Too bad it's the wrong side."
"You might wanna locate your 'f' button, Failures."
"The only way for you topping the charts would be this game to have friendly fire."
"Thank you for making my eyes bleed {arr}, so I can't see your awful play anymore."

All this pep talk really warmed our hearts !

Correct me if I'm wrong :
Loss vs {ball}: Wyrd, Wolfey, Hagnot, Goose, Maleus, Sunaki
Wins vs {ball} : Wyrd, Wolfey, Hagnot, Goose, Micro, Gemi
Vs tvo : Wyrd, Wolfey, Hagnot, Goose, Micro, Gemi, Maleus, Void, Sunaka (Not sure who didn't play those games, it's too blurry)

Here was the real lineup....i think:
Loss vs. {ball}: Wyrd, Hagnot, Goose, _micro, Sunako, Maleus
Win vs. {ball}: Wyrd, Hagnot, Goose, _micro, Void, Gemi
Vs. tVo: Wyrd, Hagnot, Goose, _micro, Void, Gemi

Fun matches, and I agree everything was a blur.. I was so confused about everything.. all the tVo ppl had weird names, i couldn't recognize anyone, _micro and hagnot seemed to be getting more and more intoxicated on mumble as the games progressed (via lemonade and german beer respectively )... and for some reason all i remember on mumble is that we kept repeating "yarr" in the most ridiculous ways possible and listening to _micro do his best sunaka impressions instead of discussing tactics and whatnot.Good stuff :P

Oh boy, if Wolfey really wasn't there this is worse than I thought. At least somewhere, my subconscious didn't totally forget you, see ?
For my defense, you all look the same to me, so...

And apparently I'm not the only one who should be worried, Goose, because I did play against tvo. As much as you want to erase me from this reality, I even scored and it cost you a thanks. You should remember the pain you felt at the very least.

Hmmm, the other ball clans seem to be in constant turmoil all the time. Merging, splitting, merging again, splitting again, quitting, starting anew, etc etc. I'm really happy that our tight recruitment policy and tight community is succeeding in keeping us together while others are constantly in change and never get used to playing with their team. (kudos to ball for being another clan that's not too plagued by this either, apart from the ball/ball* split earlier) I believe this sticking together is our strong point and what has made us fare so well even with our seemingly new members. (some had easily less than 100 hours when we started recruitment)

Thus this post is meant as sort of an advise for other clans and their captains: Start slowly, form a community with your key members and then slowly expand to your target size. Don't just take any and all good players (we'd probably have had ~30 members if we just took anyone who's pretty good and wants in) as that will lead into a large size and a less tight community, and a greater risk of your clan collapsing later on.

And also, you guys don't seem to be plagued by the drama others have. I know arr and ball, but for the quality of the players, not the drama associated with them. I pretty sure that reputation helps, too.

I think the lack of drama is a result of the same things: Tight recruitment, small size, tight community. In recruitment we didn't just look at skill but also the attitude and personality, and with our size and good organization (own irc channel, mumble, forums and website) it's easy to keep the whole thing in control. Also regular and honest feedback between the players keeps the drama down, and doing all our internal discussions on our own forums keeps the trolls out of these things.

For the past few weeks i have been secretly filming {arr} members without their consent, and gathering whatever clips i could record to mash together into a few simple 1-2 minute highlight videos( if you can call them that..), which i felt represented the fine players of this clan. I'd like to share them with you now:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* {arr}D4rt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbvk_ceO3u4

* {arr}cipso: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MC0mFEWk_I

* {arr}Wolfey
: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feVeQVgAVuY

* {arr}Wyrd : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsHm23HiWU8

NOTE:
IF you live in Germany you might not be able to view some of these..Also, these videos do not necessarily represent the views of {arr} as a clan, they are merely a product of the sick and twisted ideas from the mind of G00SE

To give people an idea, "Sick" and "Twisted" are actually how Goose nicknamed his cerebral hemispheres. That's just who he is.

While this may or may not be true, it doesn't change the fact that if you don't learn to shut yer filthy little mouth i will book a 1st class ticket and fly over to your country to repeatedly smash your face into a giant bowl of ratatouille

What is this wisdom you speak of?

This is definitely not part of my elaborate plan to instigate in-clan fighting between Goose and Sunaku, resulting in one of their expulsion from {arr} so that they'll join tVo (and why wouldn't they join the best ball clan of them all?).

"In-clan fighting" is actually our way of communicating to each other. Nice try though.
