Our new co-captain is Wolfey. He is currently handling most of the leader jobs as I am still occupied by Real Life(tm).

Partial recruitment opening is also still there.

So skyleague week 2 schedule is out, and I was wondering if you guys would like to finish the games we started last week. We have games at 6 and 8 pm GMT, and you guys have games at 8 and 9 pm GMT, so here's the deal:

We will finish our games at 6, and then stay till 7 pm GMT, which is one hour before you guys have games. If you guys would like to finish our games from last week, then show up at 7 pm GMT (one hour before your games start) and play us then. However, if you cannot field 6 players at 7 pm, then we will take the forfeit, since we were the ones who needed the extra players last week.

Deal?

I think i'll get a 3rd overfill server set up so you can play it while other matches are going on.

Hello arr!

I was browsing the forums when I came across your page and noticed you are open for recruitment..partially :P

Well I would hereby like to put forward myself as a candidate. A little about me: I'm 23, from London, a secondary school teacher of Computing (newly qualified ), with a background in systems engineering. Let that be my credentials that I'm not a loud mouth teen that will pull a team no matter how well regarded into disrepute :P.

My gaming experience: Well an avid gamer since a young lad, went through a semi-pro phase in my teens in fps games (Quake III, Call of Duty), but have since returned to casual status since moving on to uni, thus my appeal to arr specifically =)

My Altitude experience: I played a lot as a means of procrastination at uni :P when Alti was in public beta 2007-2008, which is from where I believe I remember D4rt. Took a break and picked up the retail copy only a few months ago. Since then I play only ball and only really on the arr servers - best mix of players and skill imo.

I consider myself best as a biplane pilot, however randa is a close second that I use effectively as a striker. Use me how you will as either pilot, if you only need me to play randa, that's cool.

The man in the team that probably knows me the best is akkargutt, we have a platonic relationship, when he's not cheating with kids in his house Well we work well together on public, unlike with Wyrd (plane clash)

Anyway, look forward to hearing back!

I'll see if I've got enough troops for that.

We are going where we left of? It was 2-1 for us with a best of 5, am I right?

Hey and thanks for your interest! I'm sure our members will now take notice of you on the servers when playing if they haven't already and will discuss internally what they think.

Since most of the ACES HIGH members are out of town, I thought it best to reschedule our match against you guys. Let me know if and when it's possible by either a PM, or simply posting in our thread. Thanks Guys, and I look forward to our games!

Gemi is the main pirate.
Sunaku is the girl in pink.
Wolvey is Gemi's parrot.

Hagnot is the boy with the blue hat with a Z on it.
Cipso is the boy with the red hat and the shirt with the red white stripes.
Wyrdo is the one with the yellow pants.

And I'm the one filming. ;D
The rest couldn't act and sing that well so they are backstage on the film set.

While I enjoy all this light-hearted humor, I would like to rebut the rumor that I'm not gonna hunt all of you down IRL.

lol I'm not sure anyone should interpret the ladder that way but thanks for the kind words Mom beefheart
For me, it's actually much more metaphysical as it merely implies that my life has a meaning now. And it's handy to put Guava in his place.

PS : By the way, if you could help me spread the memo that people should refer to me as "King", "My Lord" or "Your Highness" now, I would appreciate it. I'm having a hard time changing my teammates' habit of calling me "Lamer", "Nuubaku" or "Catherine". Long story.

@bomba : Thanks for posting your interest in {arr}, you sure have a way of presenting your case. We'll discuss your application during our Heteroclite Interviews Panel Survey (HIPS) and get back to you as soon as we have sobered u-- I mean, as possible.

Due to a huge time sink called "irl" I've been more or less MIA from Alti. To rectify the situation I have now decided to pass on the captain and co-captain roles to currently active members who have shown their worth. I believe this will wake the {arr} machine from slumber and slowly allow the clan to get back to its former glory, able to win tournaments against other great ball clans.

Oh wow. This thread was last alive when Sunaku was ladder queen. King. Leader.

While you're at it, Gemi, can we have D4rt? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the clarification, Gemi. Don't hesitate to come kill stuff with us when you feel so, just like old times
That said, you guys just ruined our great revival plan for this thread, thanks for nothing ! Guess we'll go with plan B and report Gemi for necroing it, sorry pal.
As for the "currently active members who have shown their worth", you'll hear from them soon enough, and the results might shock you. Ooh, teaser.

Regarding D4rt, I am sorry to tell you that the search is still ongoing. Last time we saw him he was peacefully biting his cage bars. We don't understand what happened. If by any chance you come across a person rushing at loose balls and chewing them to pieces, please contact us.

Just kidding, it's simply a picture of the spider that attacked me yesterday, don't worry.
In the end, it was a false alarm. the obstetrician told me it was just a bad reaction due to the spider's bite and reassured me everything is fine, before he had to urgently leave the continent.

Truth be told, I have learned so much about myself with this game. I started as a French man and now I'll soon be a proud Japanese Octomom. I can't wait to see what future holds ! But I have to, usual quarantine procedure they say.
