I'd wager a sub-10 is possible just camping in the ball servers and kill whoring, I wouldn't do it though since its pretty unfriendly to the newer players.

You can rack up about 1000 XP per 20 min in a ball server by camping and whoring. Following that, you can get the 75000 required to hit level 60 in roughly 25 hours. Nice try though.

Update: You can do 1000 in 13 or so minutes in Official 3. The games last longer so your end-match bonus will be higher. That comes out to just 16 hours and 15 minutes. Theoretically speaking of course.

Yea, but not in the official server, i was farming.
279xp approx every 20.5 secs (most of the time is occupied by the match stat screen).
That is around 49k xp per hour.
Going from 1 to 60 requires about 75k xp, so a total of around 750k for ace10.
So it's about 15 hours, in fact.

On public server you have other players to kill, not only bases and turrets (bots don't count anymore with last patch), so i would say that it's possible to do 60 levels in less than 15 hours. Theoretically.

What is the purpose of mindlessly abusing the system to grind your way to level 10? Is there something I am missing or do you just enjoy being known as an abuser?

I think we should all change our mindset away from a "race". This, sadly, encourages abusers to pop out.
