Default new map- my first map by Spiritus

that is my first map.

he don't have name (fail) and I accept names for it. in principle be "pentagons" or "polygons"



ps: He is currently under construction

Default Constructive critisism

a few things you need:

Bigger. It needs to be a bigger map
bigger gaps. the gaps in between the pentagons needs to be slightly bigger.
More spawn points. Pretty self explanatory.

Other than that, its not too bad.

Name suggestion: Stainless?

LOL, the map is a he!
Personally, I think this is a map that is not that great.
REASONS:
  1. WAY to small
  2. too many turrets
  3. Why is there only one spawn point?
  4. Base is at a bad angle for bombing
  5. Openings between polygons are too small

Default Ways to make it better

  1. Make it a bigger map, more geoms, more bomb routes
  2. Remove at least two-three turrets
  3. Make a box-ish shape of spawn points above the base
  4. Make the base tilted the other way or flat on the ground
  5. Goes back to #1. Make the polygons smaller and varied around the map, not just hit 'Mirror Left to Right', make it random with random sizes, positions, and rotations.

The art looks pretty good, but I think that there need to be some moar corrections to give it better gameplay.

1. Like Sean said, there are too many turrets.
2. It is also kinda small.
3. The pentagons are too big and the rest of the map is too open. I would recommend making 2-3 tunnels that go through each of the the pentagons. This would create better paths for bomb runners and make explodets and mirandas more of a viable option on this map.
4. The pentagons are way too close to the bottom route to the base. Move them up a bit or make tunnels through them so that bomb runners can avoid huge amounts of spam going through one choke point.
5. Maybe add some more obstacles and make some paths wider. It seems like you will either be in a tight space or way out in the open while playing this map.

I actually like the angle of the base. It is more challenging to hit than most bases and will take more skill to hit.

It's ok for a first map, at least he Tryed. Good job for a first map. Yes... The bases are in a hard angle

Hmm..... my suggestion is

-Make the map bigger
-Might be nice if the the bomb was neutral
-How about a cross intersection between the pentagon (like a tunnel)
-Totally whale & miranda map

But otherwise nice try and good map for your first time

The size is pretty small. More spawn points needed. I dont mind the base angle too much. the openings are too small. BUT I dont think there are too many turrets. Theres 5. Most maps you play have more, AND the turrets arent bunched together. Youre normal bomb route would be on the lower part and you would be shot by 2 turrets at a time as opposed to 3 - 4 on a regular official map. I like the background and the polygon textures.
