I've also finished tweaking Spelunking, but the file upload limit on this forum is 97.7kb for zips and it weighs in at a little under 200. Also, the forum doesn't allow you to upload level files directly which would be nice, especially considering how little zipping effects their file size.

yea, vBulletin warns against allowing large attachment sizes so just find a free file sharing site .

It would be good if eventually the Altitude website had something set up to facilitate this file sharing.

You would not have to deal with lawyers if you added the right terms and conditions. Just adding you are not responsible for the content of these maps and the copyrights are reserved to their creators, for instance may work. But in any case since you own the web hosting you should be able to add such a feature if you so choose to.
