How many of you have ever fought (protested/petitioned) for your right to free speech

I'm more looking at protested/ more active forms but any form of defense of your rights would do.

I'm interested in how many people here have ever seen what its looks like to start losing/ done something to about it (or done something actively for the betterment of society through active campaigning)

Well CCN, none of that really matters not when the final say comes down to those who abuse power they may have. True people in numbers can be a strong force but when people adopt and attitude of either, 'well its not my problem so i dont care' or 'i wont make a difference' or 'they are in that power for a reason they have to be right', the effectivness of those numbers nullifies.

unless ur not in school, u have the freedom

School = dont matter, school censors everything you do if u want ur speech, both my college and high school do this (not pertaining to me i dont participate)
Not school = freedom speech, where u can yell at someone and be arrested for assault lol, but otherwise u have all the freedom u want

I got my school to reverse numerous policies, and had my freedom of speech there. I'll put you down as a NO, you've never fought for something like this.

as bad as it sounds, and you all know its true u just dont want to admit it so i will say it for me and for every1 else, some things u stand by and watch for the greater good. some things r not in your control which, although may be bad, you do not take action, because who can blame u, its difficult. and it can create more trouble then there already is. i would now like to question what the main idea of this thread is. im not sure this paragraph is very clear, lemme rephrase it:

some things, ur not able to change, and u have to sit by and watch the cruelty. ask yourself, is there really a democracy? really? in the end there is always someone with more power than the other. look at this forum alone, this is THEIR forum so they (lam and karl) reserve the right to do whatever the hell they want. they can remove whatever they want and then can do whatever they want. i myself haven't thoroughly read the terms and conditions for alti (briefly flipped through it), but i know sum1 who has. he told me about one line that shocked him. it shocked me also.

One line in the terms and conditions says that Lam and Karl reserve the right to MONITOR any speech/anything said/anything that happens in altitude. so if ur talking to ur gf about...yeah, look who can read it?

i am not attacking lam and karl, in fact i believe they have done a massive amount of work creating and maintaining this game. I praise them for that, but I just want to alert the players about this thing my friend came by.

I asked people if my voice was actually that wtf high and apparently it is. Not my mike (though that does make it a bit higher), I was just delussional =(.

Though to be fair everyones been pretty cool about it, using it for lulz and the like (well except for ufo, he's just been a pretty big bitch tbh). So knowing that my voice sounds super ghay i've started to stop subjecting mumblers to it so much (lol ya sorry for some of the spam (lol spam drop it low) but not all of it) >_>.

Also there is nothing wrong with hating on t3h loopies + emp combo.
