Yes, you, [fLb]BG1, you're being a huge dick, and I want you to stop and think about what you're doing. Specifically, why the flying **** are you votekicking someone from one of two no max ping servers because they have too high of a ping, when you know perfectly well that it's a no max ping server. There are about 160 servers in altitude, and there are about 2 of them with a no max ping setting, and 'SkyGirls laggy Server No Max Ping' is clearly hosted on her computer, so I don't think that's going to be a long-running server.

That means when my internet connection is acting up, I can play on at most 1.2% of available servers. You can play on about 90% of available servers (some of them are password protected, etc.). And yet you decide to repeatedly votekick me FOR PLAYING ON THE ONLY ****ING SERVER I CAN PLAY ON. Why? Because you don't like my ping. And don't give me any **** about 'oh, it's not just me, other people voted to kick you, blah blah blah' **** off. It's obvious to everyone with half a brain that you don't want to play against me, and half the others vote 1 out of habit. Evidence? First, you are the only person to initiate votekicks against me. Second, you only initiate votekicks against me when we are on opposite teams.

So look at it this way: If I get kicked from the no max ping server, I can't play at all. I paid my 20$ same as you, but I'm getting kicked from the only server I can play on. Since I have done nothing wrong, and you have other options, why don't you change servers?

And if you think I'm being a whiny forum martyr, fine, votekick me, but at least stop votekicking Australians (I've seen this happen to Beagle) from the no max ping server.

Proposed technical solution: Add a thirty second wait time between the votekick is initiated, and when players can vote. This will allow the player on the receiving end to plead their case. Also, let us add a reason for a votekick

There's a limit at which a huge ping is just disruptive to the game, there are a lot of people including myself that vote when someone is teleporting or spiking really bad. I don't know how much ping you exactly had just sharing the view of a lot of people.

EDIT: Also I think teleporting begins when you're spiking or pinging above 400 so Aussies are safe except if people get really pissed lol
EDIT: Oh and also most of the time you're forced to play Official #3 since the other TBD non bouncy servers are empty

Your ping was spiking from 100 to 999 and you were teleporing all over the place. Fix your connection and stop being an idiot. It's a no max ping server but you still need to have a stable ping to play.

Change servers and stop being an idiot. It's the only goddamn server I can play on. I'll stop playing when you refund my 20$. Edit: I can't fix my ping because the ISP is having the problems.

Well first of all, if there was a populated server with a max ping I obviously wouldn't spend my time in a no max ping server.

Secondly, I'm not saying you can't play the game. I'm saying that you're an idiot for playing online when your connection is in that state and I'll just keep vote kicking you as long as you're lagging.

I hope you got that tantrum out of your system. The forums are not the place for your personal issues. If you have to make a complaint, could you please be more mature about it? Try cooling off for a bit before trying to make your case. People will take you more seriously.

This is more of a general issue, since there are a lot of bullys around here.

Fill up the officials #1 and #2 instead of ruining the game for ppl with a bad connection. If I go in #3, I accept that many players may be spiking or having connection problems. They have paid and it's their right to play.
Usually there are only 1 or 2 ppl with pings so high, so there are more than enough players to fill up the other servers.

You have a stable ping <400ms? Do not join the goddamn #3! Really, it's not so hard. You will get a better game experience, he will get A game experience. Better for everybody.

There's a big difference between having a stable ping in the 300s or so and having a ping that frequently spikes between 100 and 999. The people who kicked you might be making the game less fun for you, but in addition you are certainly making the game less fun for everyone else who plays in your server. If your connection is having these sorts of problems you should talk to your Internet Service Provider.

No need to bring personal vendettas to the forum, especially in such an immature way. I'd encourage you to cool down a bit and then take the issue up with BG1 privately. Thread closed.
