What league format do you find better?

I really think this is a horrible thing to use a poll for. The two systems have easily demonstrable differences and determining which one is best is just a matter of specifying what the goal of the league is. If its to figure out which team is best, its playing each team once (or having balanced/randomized schedules). If its to make sure you're matched up evenly against other teams, the old system is best.

So this poll is a bit misguided, imo.

the goal of the league is for everyone involved to have the best possible experience, therefore finding out which format the majority prefers is the best way to decide imo.

the old system just doesn't make any sense and nobody likes it so lets just get rid of it already

to be honest I'd say - it's not a big deal to move the start 1 week later and reorganize the league, if everyone is So against the current system.

Why not just continue with current lineups and do the rest according? Are you planning on changing something else?

I agree with Storm - we should simply play our current matches and decide about the further timetable at the beginning of the next week. I mean there's nothing bad in playing the already given teams (everyone will just have to play other 13 matches later).

I'd also say - it's a great news and makes me even more exited about the coming season

What I have to say isn't either one of the options!

1) Play each team once
This idea works fine. It makes sure no one teams schedule is to easy or to hard.

2) Play according to record
This idea works fine. It makes sure that each team plays the most fair match.

IMO, we need the best of both worlds.

We cant make the two best teams play each other, but we cant let crappy teams get killed.

If each team plays each other team once, here is what will happen.
The best team will go undefeated and the worst, defeated.

If DX is the worst clan, no matter who they play, the will loose. And, the record will wind up looking like this:
ACE 15-0
fLb 14-1
L* 13-2
(just an example)
This is because ACE can beat them all. But, fLb can beat them all accept for ACE. Of course, there might be an incident where that changes, but, for the most part, the records will look just like that.

This is why I AM NOT for playing each team once.
I AM NOT for playing teams with just your record.

There is a very simple solution.

BREAK IT INTO DIVISIONS
You take the top 8 clans, and the bottom 8 clan, and separate them.
ALL pro leagues do this, but that is based on location, more than skill.

Then, you play every team once. But, you play teams in your division TWICE.

Benefits:
Each clan has the schedule hardness of playing each team once.
Each clan also plays clans their skill level a second time.

ACE vs DX.....ACE vs fLb........ACe vs KLF........ACE vs fLb

It works very well. Clans will have the chance to play teams with their skill level twice, to prove who truly is better.

This will make A LONG season. But, I think teams are up for it.

Only 1 PROBLEM:
Deciding what top 8 teams are really the top 8.
ACE
fLb
(||)
L*
FN
IL
|
KLF

IDK. Thats just what I think. Let me know

You do realize the last finals was double elimination so we had to play ACE in 2 bo7s, and that we won the 1st bo7 4-3 (with 4 straight wins) and lost the second.

The opposite, it's better for the weak team to prepare vs teams they practically have no chance against anyways rather than start vs teams they can actually beat.
