List friends on server

Currently you can hover over the plane icon next to your friends name in the friend list to see what server this specific friend is on. With a huge friends list it is quite difficult to get a good overview though. On the other hand on the server list there is an icon next to each server that has your friends in it, but there is no way to see the list of friends that are playing on each server.

I suggest adding a hover pop-up for the green friend icon. When you hover your mouse on the icon you would see a list of the friends on that server. (preferably with a smallish font so that it doesn't obstruct the server list too much) This would allow you to more easily see where your friends are playing in larger bunches so you could select a server based on that.

good idea gemi, something like that would be quite usefull.

Another option would be to show the servers name behind the friends nick (see attachment). If u search for a specific friend, sort after nicks, if u want to know which server most of ur friends are on, sort after server names.
This would make the friendlist way bigger but theres enough empty space anyway.

That is indeed a working idea as there is much space to use. I don't really care which way this is implemented, although the initial suggestion has the added plus that you can see the server info like player amounts etc.

i suggested this ages ago when i first started playing. Dont know why this isnt implemented cus its one of those things that just makes sense to have in any server based games. I dont think it would be particularly hard to code (i think).


perhaps an option to view all the players could be added under the right click menu.

It shouldn't be hard to do and it shouldn't require any new data to be sent to the client as the client already has the information of friends and their servers as can be seen on the friends screen. This of course always depends on how things are done in this specific game.

The option to see the whole list of players would require more data to be sent so that's why I did not suggest it before.

Bumpity bump, I'm still waiting eagerly for this to make my life easier. It's something that bothers me every single day when I log in, especially now with the influx of different servers.
