Make biplane primary faster.
Why are the bullets so slow?
Seriously, they feel like explodet rockets. They have a tiny hitbox, you can only fire like 6 with full energy, and they're terribly slow. Come on! At least make them faster. |

yeah, I think biplane could use a slight buff anyway. it's still great at what it is, but it's gotten less useful in team games than I think is ideal.
but then I'd be happy if the game were all biplanes all the time, so maybe my opinion shouldn't count. |

Recoilless could use a buff like this, as the mass exodus away from it shows. I dunno if simply speeding up the rounds is enough though. I think Biplane suffered a lot before the Steam launch because in the days of unlimited demos, Biplane "1-shot" (which is a huge misnomer, btw) was one of the primary QQ points for demo-moochers. That's why all the Biplane perks got significant DPS nerfs. Now that every member of the community has bought the game and is no longer relegated to solely demo Loopy or Bomber usage, it might be nice to see some of the Bipe's old DPS come back.
I fear that raw performance buffs might only be a band-aid for the Biplane's reputation, but it's worth a try anyway. |

biplane needs to inflict more damage...now that there are no rubber demos, explos are currently raping havoc on the plethora of non-rubber planes.
the only thing that kills explos is moar explos or bombers, so we need biplane to be a good mid-range plane that does a decent job of thwarting the heavies, cuz right now biplane does a good job at nothing |

I've always seen the Biplane as the natural anti-Explo plane from a design perspective, it's just not good enough at this yet, I think. If the Biplane is boosted in this role it would be a lot more common in teams and would thwart the current reign of Explo heavyish teams.

after reading vanias threads on upgrading biplane and noticing that 3 explodets are possibly overpowering the game, i think that really, the only thing that needs changing is a slight upgrade to biplane. first, i think that explodet can be taken down by many planes just as easily as other planes get killed by explodet, its just that explodet kills are more frustrating to the other users (like bomber spam is also very frustrating). i think this is where it seems overpowered, but then again, it is a heavy plane, where heavy slow damage is done, rather than quick and little damaged shots from lighter planes.
killing an explo is rather simple, in an open field or even with shots by a miranda, however, i find that biplanes seem to get their kills off explodet mainly by getting them on a singular path of shots, then when they get close they burst fire. i feel that either more damage per shot is needed, or same damage with possibly 2 more shots per energy bar usage could be used. this might make biplanes more useful on the battle field where they can be used for more linear snipe shots as as well as close range dog fighting skills. (plus they can bomb! ) i think that the overall evenness between light and heavies are great. bombers and explodets cannot run the bomb. light planes can. this advantage in itself is far superior then to heavy planes. not only that, but on large maps, small planes have the ability to ninja their way in before heavy planes can turn around to save the day. |

kuja might kill me for saying this, but i also think the explo/flexi wings combo is OP. it makes explos insanely nimble.
