Lammyboi, SWN, Omincron, Nerl, FFS, ect ect are all products of the apple wave. Just lammyboi alone is enough to offset the average maturity level. The rise of clans was pretty much my doing as I made the first clan thread and started seeking out/making opponents. This is after they for the most part died out after the end of the TL league.

Haven't known a single person under the age of 20 playing this game.

I hate this kind of thread, so thank me later for posting in it anyway.

You all seem to have glaced at ARAB's post, gone "HMM WHATEVER" and kept posting. No. That is where this pointless thread should have died.

That's not an exaggeration - this thread is pointless. Hell, it says it itself, it's a rant. Everybody is coming in to complain about how they and their buddies are the hardcore Jesuses of games and all these lowly scrubs are ruining the game by bei- NO SHUT UP, YOU FUN SPONGES. Either propose a solution - like that that kid who proposed Altitude mentoring months back - or, as ARAB so eloquently put it, quit yer bitchin', because he already hit the nail on the head regarding this topic.

Lightbulb I know why this happened

I know why the noob population spiked sort of recently. I happen to know where all they are coming from because I found out about altitude the same way. Altitude used to be found out about only by word of mouth but then altitudes name got one of the biggest game lists out there, good experience games. In of March 2010 alone it had almost 40 thousand different visitors all seeing the altitude link. I suspect that the makers of altitude are aware of this because they bumped up the price but that is only a educated guess. This is all I know. I'll admit it is annoying sometimes when you can bomb without a single hit or when my team is filled with noobs or when games take forever because of noob bombers. My suggestion to stop this is to have servers with a level lock of like "level 60 on ace level one and above" or something like that. Another option is designated times when only certain level players can go on. Till one of these ideas or others are in place we just have to deal with the noobs.

Altitude is like stale tacos. Not your first choice, but always filling.

A new type of game play always seems to spike the interest of folks. Wonder what Lammy and Karl are up to....

They have their own lives to live. Then again, they could've been working on a new perk or something big this whole time. Who knows? (besides Maimer)

I only noticed it on TBD, a bunch of asses camping the bomb and doing nothing for the team. In ball, even on public servers, there are usually a lot of nice players.

Exclamation Another interesting fact

Another interesting fact to reinforce the theory of the noob explosion is that in 02/2010 the altitude website had 671 unique visitors. After it was put on good experience games, in 03/2010 the the amount of unique visitors skyrocketed to a whooping 5,271 people. Wow.

P.S. Another thing is that that the amount of ball games(probably the easiest mode) are going up along with this.

I also downloaded it from apple and it does seem like altitude has gotten worse. Now there are a bunch of loopy spammers and no one actually good comes on any more. It used to be so great..

Quit reminiscing about the "good days" because all of your friends left. There are better players than before showing up everyday. Just because a few "good" people left Altitude doesn't mean a thing save they lost interest. If it weren't for those "noobs" you wouldn't be able to ACE up! One day they will be looked at as "veterans" too.
