1 year since TL wave

(I recommend clicking the small "all" button and typing known names (kuja900 or tyr for instance) in search mode for some hilarious posts).

It's now been approximately 1 year since the TL wave started.
chobopeon posted about altitude, and the next day, the servers were flooded by level 1 TL players. A lot stopped playing after a while, or when the game was released, but some stayed and are still here, and all of them are now among the best players in the game, cuz Starcraft nerds just have the experience of dealing with multiplayer games - to be good, you have to play a ****ton. I'm too lazy to make a list of TL members who are still playing altitude, but there's a second thread (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/view...topic_id=91337) where you can find even more hilarious posts, and the posts where two of the most famous and successful altitude team ever were created.
So yea, hopefully we'll bring some of the old TL players back (CSHEEP, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, WE ALL LOVE YOU) and keep pwning in the future.

I all remember when I started playing was the SZ tag, which seemed to be Mega-Pro lol. I remember I also though that days, that Ace was a person (and was wondering - why are there so many of those Ace guys)

I just played with terrible Euro's for a few months.

yeppers CCN same here, i distinctly remember spending a lot of time on jeppews' server, i dont remember the map name.

Also spent many hours playing TBD_koopa_by_jeppew, what a map!! lawl

Despite what some people might think, although i can't compare alty 1 year ago to alty now, i am still learning in a big way, woooop!

To conclude, imho altitude is as alive as ever.

I remember when all of you guys came sporting your [TL] tags and all. The ratio of TL to non TL was like 10:1 lol, I was sort of jealous of the amount of talent and the amount of players brought to the game. I think the TL wave is what really kept alty going strong, and I commend you, TL scum

Back when biplanes were still the plane of choice for most pros Damn those were some great times, good thing the old vets were nicer to noobs than we are now lol. Also TL still holds all the APL 1st and 2nd places considering most of the players on ACE and fLb are/were from TL.
