APL World War Preview

There will be different modes (you will choose your best 3)
Time will be elected by the community
Each week you attack and you defend
This will be season 4, and it might start in july or august or september, whenever people feel like it.

A lot of if's, we'll have polls and stuff
Website will be up,
rules will be set in stone
Servers are already amazing

But, only 16 teams will get to play.

Oh, and there are qualifiers, in case there are more than 16 teams that sign up..., it will be a whole tournament that ranks each team...

So, 24 teams sign up, the worst 8 will get eliminated, i dont know how to do the tournament, we can do a group stage world cup style or playoff sort of...

Just giving you a heads up

Snce people are having doubts and the game is dying down, we don't know if this will go through 100% but we'll see how the community reacts in 3 months...

I like this ... I just don't get the part I putted underline...And I like the bolded part mostly...Do the World cup style ...Make groups and then knock out phase ! pls pls do that...In tbd or ball doesn't matter...Or we could do first TBD then when we finish it start Ball who wants it xD great idea anyway Evil!

I think we should have another season just like the past ones, and this shouldn't replace it but be something extra.

yep...RAdium is right , keep the regulars but put in this ones as shorter extras :P xD

Haha, this could be really fun. We need a history buff or someone, set up teams at "positions" on a map of say WW2 and move around as you win games. Play it out and see who conquers what territory, like RISK.

it'll actually be a territorial game... There will be 4 divisions (4 boxes) and each team will control 2 transition territories that border other teams divisions...

so 3 territories, u decide what mode they are...
And you attack and defend a territory so it's 2 matches a week possible, it's like a regular season...

lol if everyone is excited about this i can post up all teh details

Can alliances be made, like the Triple Entente? Having sectors of teams sound fun, but what if all the top tier teams just kill out the weaker teams? Much balance would be needed.

thats not the way it works >.> loli, alliances can't be made but teams will have to face each other eventually... we're trying to figure out how to give advantages to the defending teams... also, most teams can attack almost any other territory possible, but the one in ur division is valued the most!
