Right now I am using IshowU, I like screenflow but it takes up too much CPU so I can't play altitude while recording it ends up being really choppy and I can't play like that.

btw nikon, maybe try recording the finals this sunday, and the videos most appreciated and watched are ladder vids and APL/skyleague matches..

Smooth video, no sound. I usually play without sounds and music anyway

I am going to do it with sounds because the other way (it's with a different program) doesn't work very well anyway. Class you will be able to watch the first and probably 2nd game today but the rest you well have to wait until tomorrow probably. Sorry

sorry guys, it turns out I won't even be able to get the first one up until late tonight. sorry. The problem was that I finished uploading the first game (finally) and then it said that it was denied because it was too long (AFTER I FINISHED UPLOADING IT) stupid youtube. So I have to upload it in two parts.

It's a 5v5 tourney, not 4v4.
If your players have ****ty connection it's your problem, not the other team's.

Wolf, i don't feel that i need to explain myself i will though talk about Karma.

APL2 KLF Vs FN We played 4Vs5 and lost, i think on two other occasions we had a player down either because of d/c ing or because we didn't have enough people.

I re-iterate what i said in PL server #1 yesterday, i did not sign up for a 4v4 league, what comes around goes around. I'm willing to bet Tmic leaving was tactical from fLb side but i cant prove it.

Im not sure also how much of the games you saw but although some of the games were close, we were by far the stronger team on the day.

Please Wolf if you will raise a subject such as this with so little back up or explanation you are no better than wood or YorK.. lol <3 york....

actually yes normally in apl's when a team is down 1 and its a clutch situation, the team with 5 normally plays 5..nothing really new there.
i remember in flbss summer league we played like literally 5 games 4v5 (we had 4).
if anything, it makes u stronger

In my eyes I find it deplorable to play 4v5 unless it's for a minute in the middle of a game where people don't realize it. If one knows that an entire match is going to be played 4v5 and you still choose to play 5 - well that's just rather pathetic. Admittedly, when I first was playing we did that to fLb which was really lame of us and shouldn't have been done. I'd much rather have taken the loss than won like that.

However, it's also pathetic for teams to only have 4 people show up. It shows a serious lack of commitment and the team should probably be re-evaluated. When fLbSS consistently had 4 I got sick of it and took matters into my own hand. Sammich has members who are not showing up and we are kicking them out (even if they are cool people).

The team with only 4 showing up probably deserves the loss - but that doesn't mean it's respectful to play 5v4.

If you are winning 5v5, getting destroyed 4v4 and winning 5v4.
And the other team's player with the lowest kills disc's which turns the game against us, I can't see it as fair that we have to eat a loss, while not ideal i'd rather win 5v4 then lose 4v4 but i'd much rather win 5v5. They even picked up cloud mid-series so its not like we would of stopped them picking up a random if they showed up short. We even said its cool for them to pick up another player mid-game to get it back to 5v5, however the game ended very very quickly. By the time the idea of a rematch came up, everyone was very heated so that idea died with that environment.

I think it is much better if there are 6 men put in when the tournament starts and only if 1 discs does the 6th man come in, however this is also really abusable. Regardless, there needs to be some set rule in place to help in this situation such as on drop teams go to their sides while a replacement is put in - then all bombs dropped or just the 6th man way(as people seem to find the current "you're screwed" rule one unfair). I however do not condone losing a map because of another teams mistakes, just like I wouldn't expect another team to play 4v4 for a loss due to our mistake.

I honestly I have no idea what actually happened i was just throwing out my input in games in general. I still am of the opinion that playing 5v4 to win instead of 4v4 is just disrespectful but to each their own!

lame as it may be, i feel like if a team has 4...then its kinda too bad for them..
seeing that its more of a competition, i think that if u have five show, and they only have 4, then BOOP!. tee heee...
i could see it being kinda mean but at the same time its definately the fault of the other team..i see this working in ladder where you can sit, but thats also because there is no set team, therefore it can never really be accounted for as to who sits or if someone leaves..
but in apl, i think that teams who have 5 shd be able to play all five without feeling bad at all, or else, why would they even show in the first place?

Well I've always thought the idea behind leagues and clans was to make the game more fun through competition. I mean, you can curbstomp someone 5v4, sure, but where's the fun in that? If I wanted to pwn someone horribly, I'd go play in the bouncy servers all day. The only real pay off to Altitude tourneys is the fun you had playing in them, so why diminish that fun by making those kinds of games so easy?

Well ya it's nice that people can agree to 4v4 and stuff, but the rules remain the same, it's the teams decision. There is no reason why a team that has 5 should have a penalty. (I do still agree with Hurri)
