You have Final Cut Studio? I'm eventually going to make the leap from Express when I can afford it and have a better computer.

Some other great software:
  • Photoshop (I'm terrible with it, but whatever)
  • After Effects (used to edit the new ladder video)
  • iShowU HD (high quality screen recorder that uses very low computer resources)
  • Komodo Edit (free HTML validator)
  • MPEG Streamclip (amazing free video format converter)
  • Marbleblast Gold (very fun game)

I played Marbleblast also! Thanks for telling me about Komodo Edit, I definitely check it out.

Also, I don't have Final Cut Studio, I am currently in your situation also.

I guess I should contribute some too:
- Notepad++ (best webdev program ever)
- Launchy (super nice program to easily start programs/sites/folders)
- Firefox with all its addons (firebug, addblockplus, greasemonkey most notable for me)

I also find it hilarious that you put up a separate program for CSS editing, showing how there is no way in hell you are actually using it(because not a soul would use a separate editor for CSS)

I like free stuff, so here are some free Windows compatible apps I've stumbled across while looking for prons:

HandBrake - DVD ripping software

Gimp - Bitmap editor (alternative to Photoshop)

Inkscape - Vector imaging program (alternative to Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw)

Blender - 3D modeling program with game engine

Super - File converter/enconder; you can convert to or from almost any file type

CCleaner - Keep the s*** off your comp; removes unneeded files and fixes registry issues

Google Chrome - Faster and more lightweight than IE and FF; needs more add-ons though

Evrsoft First Page - Text-based html editor

FCEUX - NES (Nintendo) emulator!

ZSNES - SNES (Super Nintendo) emulator!!

GOM Player - Nice, lightweight media player; plays virtually every video file type (including flv!)

Handbrake is KicA$$
but I've been using SumoPaint as an alternative to Gimp
One day I may treat myself to Photoshop (or find a good download )
