Autojoin order
When my friend and I AUTOJOIN the same game (we are in same location, same router, same IP) - alwyas the last autojoing player connects first to the game:
- i try to join the game and I activate autojoin - my friend does the same - then he first joins the game This sucks - as the first who tried to join the game will be the last to join :/ PS. I searched forums but didnt find anything about this ("autojoin"). |

Going off of this it would be night to have a queue listing of auto-join. As in if the server is full you get a queue number. That way when you start to autojoin you can see like "oh i'm 7th on the queue - sweet."

But you have this feature right now: server says 14 players on 12 seats (14/12) am I right?

There is no queuing system at the moment. Currently, auto-join will try connecting you every 30 seconds or so. That's why I just connect manually if I want to get into a server. People have asked for a better system in the past. I guess it's either difficult to implement or (more likely) not very high up on the "todo" list.

Autojoin indeed definitely needs a queue! Alti needs this more than mouse control .. .. ..

Agree, that's a great idea. I've had auto-join on for 30 minutes a few times, and it would have been nice to see "#22" or whatever.

It would also be nice if spectators didn't fill up a slot in a server.

This should be on top of to do list and not mouse control (which was so random) imo. |

I think team chat on spectators is already hidden from player. I agree that spectators shouldn't take a slot.

Yeah but they don't always use team chat, do they?

One problem with this, lets say u are in the {arr} servers. Or, you are autojoining it. It is 6v5 and a bot because 1 guy is spectating. Now, if he doesnt count and it lets you in, there would be 13 players in it, and it would not be fair to kick the guy spectating. If you are inactive for 5 minutes anyways, you disconnect I beleive |

O York, I'll draw u a picture so you can understand.
Teh spectators have their OWN slots and they need to wait in the queue to enter the game again. O M G problem solved (and the problem of people spectating for a while to keep their spot in the server too) |

This new proposed system would also have its bad sides. What if my doorbell rings and I need to run out for 10-20 seconds. If I spec I lose my play spot, but if I don't spec my team plays with one less player for 10 seconds, which is also bad.
Not saying that I don't like the proposed system, just brining out the other side of it. |

You are forgetting bots. On pub servers bots balance it out when someone spectates, and this thing is all about pub servers. Competitive games are an entirely different matter.
