Default Map Editor: Backgrounds

How can i copy an entire background (4 parallax layers) from one map to another? As i see now the editor has no clipboard function and you cant open more than one map at a time. It would be ok also if there was a way to copy 1 layer at a time. thanks.

The best way is to -start- with the map you'd like to copy the backgrounds from, then delete the other elements. If that's not possible, you can use the Export -> View Screenshot on each of the graphical layers, then use Import -> Large PNG File to put them in your map.
