I'm bewildered... is this something different to the other thread where current, existing teams can join for a different tourney?

Final Frontier League (FFL) is an organization. We are a group of guys who are going to make tournaments and leagues and things. The draft is one event, hosted by FFL.

I was down for playing a tournament but I'd rather not play a whole league without my team.

Honestly, me too. If it's for a whole league, I'd rather the teams be predetermined.

I think the capt's game-style tourney is just a tourney, but Final Frontier intends to do leagues (in a different format) as well.

Two separate events. The Draft is for fun, this is with teams like fLb already.

From what I understand from the people ive talked to Flight is acting independently without any input from anyone else. Leagues are a collaborative effort.

Ive talked to nipple and york both of whom have said theyve had little no involvement even though their names are listed as co-organizers.

edit: also having "non clan players" in positions of power is foolish because they have no intimate knowledge of the league.

Hmmm
If you're planning on running a league I dunno if it'll be successful. APL3 just ended and evil and the other admins of APL know by experience that running another league immediately isn't a good idea. Many players need some time to rest, we need to give some time for new teams to be created and to improve so we don't have always the same players from one league to another. Which is why I don't think another big league of tbd is a good idea (APL4 is coming in august or something). Also I understand that the ball league worked out quite well as well so I suppose same applies there.
In the past, in between leagues, people ran 1/2 days tournaments and it was perfect. I think we should keep doing it that way.

Expressing an opinion isn't trolling, if a league is to be had I want it to be properly executed. Ok York what have you done besides provide the servers.

Hi, this is so as not to confuse the hell out of anyone.

Remember APL? OK now take those rules and apply them here. These are some rules that will be strictly enforced. And by the way, I suggest you build you team off these rules because there is no more APL. The only next league held be them is like a multi mode league. F that!

Strict 12 man roster
-When you apply, your team can only have 12 people. No reserves. If you want to add a person to your roster, you must wait exactly 7 days before he can play in the league. So if you pick someone up saturday, he can't play until the next sunday. If you add anyone, another person must be removed. Once he is removed, he can not play for that team for the rest of the league. So don't think you can just continue to sub people in and out.

Please guys, if you see that your team has 15 members, makes 3 of them join or make a new clan. Altitude could use more teams!

ALSO-

to teams that have registered, please post your rosters. you can change your roster as much as you want until the first match.

Your team must show up to the pre season to be allowed to play.

By the way flight, you have 18 members in your roster. Fix it man

IMO this should start sooner.

1st reason; tbd_ players need it. I think post-APL hangover is gone so, back to fights please.

2nd reason; and maybe im very wrong on this one... August is the "default vacations month" in my country and i believe that at least in Europe the thing goes the same way. Meaning no Altitude for me and alot more people i presume.
