Are you not getting past the login servers?
Or are you having trouble joining a game server? Because I can join whenever I want, I so do the rest of the people I know that play alti. |

I don't know what problem you're having there's hundreds of players online every time of the day on lots of servers.

I managed 9 hours of game time for my free weekend, I loved the game so much I purchased a copy for my self, my wife and my brother... Hell, why not take advantage of the sale price!
I've only had one instance where I could not login. The message requested that I wait 5 minutes and try again, I wanted about 1 minute and then logged in just fine. The game is £3.50... I spend that on a pint which I only enjoy for a matter of minutes. This game I'll be enjoying for ages. |

Hmmm...a pint or a videogame? Fortunately, it's hard to get cask ale in the US, or I'd have wavered Seriously, this free weekend was a great promotion. Servers were a bit crowded, true, but that auto-join feature solved the issue for the most part.

Glad to hear some sales are in the works... many of the vets here have played 1000+ hours. I myself am over the 700 mark. At $20, I've paid $0.03/hr. Show me another addiction that can be had for so cheap.
No really, show me and I'm there. =P |

I hopped in as soon as I saw the free weekend and have not had an issue but ONCE, and that's when the login server was down for maintenance at one point (at least, that's what the website said).
I'm also level 59 now, am hosting a dedicated server, and have been playing almost religiously. My server has yet to crash, so things are running pretty well. Something's messed up on your end, I think. Also, bought the game for myself AND one of my friends, and convinced a few others to buy it. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah! |

At the sale price it is a steal! Hell, at full price it's a steal. I'm going to grab a few more copies today for friends I know will want it once they see me playing. It's a brilliant blend between "old school" console type fun and the online competitive world.
One question: If you buy the game as a gift for friends on steam, do you get the 300 community points? I didn't get any if you do. Would be nice though. I want more skins! |

You need to use the links in your Hangar deck (I hope I'm right, I'm not 100% sure). There should be a community tab with the link that you need to use. It works like a refferal system.

I am not sure why you are having this problem, I have had no problems playing.
Maybe re-install. But the game is completely worth the purchase! |

Yeah, I never had any issues playing the game, it was super simple.
Like you guys I plunked down the 5 bucks and bought the game after the first night of play. The last two nights I've been up until 3 in the morning dogfighting. Also, let me just mention, what a great group of people to play the game with. Everyone has been super nice. |

Seconded, and I got into it by looking on Steam, thinking 'I'll try it, it's free', two days later...well you know the rest

Yea I bought the game for a friend and got 300 community points. He quit though so I gave it to another friend. If you see a guy named "AIDS!" thats him |

I only got one server issue, and that's right now. Is this normal/common?
