Today I ended up spending with my wife.. I'm on now and will be for about an hour, but I'm guessing most everyone will be asleep. I can't use my mic during the night either. Real shame I missed the match!! I hope someone got it recorded! I'm hoping for a York youtube video. Will be on tomorrow and hoping to meet some of you folks.

Thought I would post back with a little encouragement for any other new folks interested in this initiative. I only posted up my interest yesterday and already I've met a few of the tutors. Each of which has been very welcoming and helpful already. I've had a quick lesson with Wolf and York where I was given a quick run through of the games basics and given some tips to help with my play style. I've met others too which I've not had chance to play with yet but am looking forward to it. Was typical though! As soon as I knew someone was watching me, I couldn't fly straight. My defence was the fact it's 2am, but everyone was friendly even given the fact I spent more time upside down than the right way up.

At the very least so far it has been really helpful to slow down a few of the game mechanics and have someone talk me through them. I had no idea the EMP disabled turrets for example! Definitely worth meeting up with some of these experienced players. Give it a go!

Thanks a lot! I spend most of my time bouncing off the walls but every so often a stroke of luck takes me. Hoping with all these folks offering help I'll be able to pair some luck with some skill.

Hey guys, I played for 5/6 hours or something over the weekend; mainly with the bomber and biplane (and explodet if I wanted to annoy someone with mines mmm).
It sounds like fun to get some tips from some/a more experienced (bomber) pilot. I can certainly see myself playing this game for hours at end at many a night. I live in GMT+2 (summer time) and can play at any time until 2 am-ish, starting around 5 pm. Props on the initiative btw; nice one

Hi, it appears we have the same time zone! Would you want me to teach you some stuff? I know useful tips about the planes you mentionned above.

People willing to tutor should put in some stuff about themselves imo. That being said I'm CET timezone which is i think GMT+2. I can play all planes decently though i play competitively only with Explodet, Lasor randa and Acid loopy.

I'm currently in AZ time (Yes, it has its own timezone).

EST time zone. I can play trickster and laser semi-efficiently (definitely not one of the best!) and flak if I need to, though I'm far from good with it.

I am GMT+2 which is ET+6 i play all planes i guess decent altough my loopy became crap. I use all planes competitively its just what fits me best for watever map.

My timezone is GMT. I play... several hours a day from noon to about 2 AM.

As for the planes I play, I use Bomber as primary, Loopy and Biplane for bomb running. I can teach any perk for Loopy, but for Bomber I am only good with Flak and for Biplane only for bomb-running purposes.

I am a quite good bomb runner, even though I barely ever do it anymore (I kinda gave up to help my team more with a heavy plane) so if you want to learn how to bomb some bases or just learn the basics of TBD or any of those planes, just ask.

Just wanted to say that this is an awesome idea, and I am really quite impressed by the community you guys have built up. Props.

That said, I'm don't think I'll sign up for lessons. My schedule doesn't really permit my setting out blocks of time for a video game, but...

What about a tutoring server? Where people can hop in to get some tips or specific help. I know its probably a long shot, but it'd be nice for people like me who only get to play when time allows for it.

The server's a good idea. My sense of it is that you could look for anyone with an *ET* tag in-game and hit them up for advice.

I was a tutor all weekend, in every single game i played. Saw it as my obligation - helping noobs is good for our near future sanity. Although doing it randomly ingame translates in 50% success, cause 50% of noobs are ofcourse def and blind, some learned the basics pretty fast.
