so ive taken it up on Me to initiate the second team

so that is that, if anyone wants out say so, but as far as it goes, thats Team #2. as to officially declare our entrance. The captain needs to also send this in:

Team Name: suggestions?
Tag: suggestions v2.0?
Captain (TL/Altitude names):
Pilots, IPs, Account ID:
Preferred Time Zone: the time zone seems to be edgy, but since there are 10 players and its 5vs5 i think we could manage.
Show match info: ??

so far there are no IPs and account id-s of these members (from the league topic): Vi, Lamsbro and ryebone.

I suggest our team name be "Team Two". Or "Team Ryebone". Preferably the latter.

Is this the same team I agreed to be on in-game sometime? There's only these two teams and not some other secret team that I've gotten myself enlisted in, right?

Edit: can TDB stand for Team Demolish Base instead?
Edit 2: We need to counter Team Liquid and Team Solid. Let's be Vapor, so we can later claim the forums were named after us. Not TV, but simply [V], V like a flying flock of birds. See how I can come up with a nice name rather than something egotistical like Duck's "the mighty ducks" or Ryebone's "team ryebone?"

BTW, there is this poll in the TL thread that's asking if there should be a limit of two planes of each type.

That would suck IMO, even though there's only 5 people per team I think everyone should have the option of playing with whatever they want. So please register and vote "No" if you agree, since right now "yes" is winning.

As long as it's limited to only one duck per game then I think the rest of us mere mortals might stand a chance. (but then again that video is godlike)

we're not going to start off with that rule even if yes ends up winning. it's just to gauge what everyone thinks. we're going to give everything a go and if it is bad we'll switch it up.

PS! i really think we should get a small best out of 3 match sometime soon against another team from the league, for practice and such (well except for pillars team, because im expecting a humiliating win from this to show off the awesome and Team Solid (gay) quite possibly HAX!)

Welcome to the team, King!

I feel like we should have some sort of team bonding. We'll all get 'round the campfire and sing and then do some icebreakers and roast marshmallows. Most of us are from the old Biplanes, which makes me feel like I know you guys. We've been together 5 years! In this team alone, I've hung out IRL with one of you, sent mail to another of you, have spoken with voice to three of you, and am facebook friends with three of you. I'm so sentimental about the ol' biplanes community that I could fill an entire subforum with it. But who the hell are you other guys?

so thats 3, 2:0 wins for us... monkey is pleased

im pretty sure i can personally be on everyone of those games (with the exception of Sunday May 3rds. wich is 9PM EST (4AM to me).

also there is always a chance of rescheduling them by a few hours (depends on the team captains requests)

you can reschedule them by more than a few hours. if it is good for you, you can reschedule them to the week. the only times you can't play are during another team's scheduled game (if youre using the same server - if youre using your own, go ahead) and after sunday.

feel free to schedule it whenever you and the opposing captain can make it. the default gametime is just in case you two can't agree.

Schedule, cool. Unfortunately, not sure if I'll be able to make it to the games.

Saturday shall be my first day back in the US, so from then on my time zone shall be EST (and my IP shall change rather dramatically as well, not that I know what you need it for). There's a lot of people who haven't seen me for a while, so I might have to forgo Altitude for things like social interaction. Depending on how things work out, though, me and my nice shiny American internet connection-- oh how I've missed you-- will try to be there.

Ok Monkey, here's what we should do:

-Set up Vapor server which allows 10 players max
-Collect people's instant messaging contact info (my aim: uncoiling)
-Message everyone and say "Skirmish time in the Vapor server"
-People are available or not, but will likely get enough people to at least mostly fill one team. Once we're in there, the rest of the server will fill up.

You could also announce skirmish times here, but I'd message the team as well.

Team Liquid's tournament coverage works to excite the competitiveness in me. Even if just two of us make a skirmish, it is helpful to our teamwork. And even just one player can greatly improve his/her skills by practicing in the 5v5 environment.

So someone make a 10-player server (I unfortunately cannot)! And everyone let us know how to contact you.
